Sicilia and Elliot, holding hand in hand, were laughing and chatting as they entered their house when they heard a loud crash from the second floor. The impact shook the ceiling, causing them to look up.
The sound seemed to be coming from a specific direction.
Better than a spider instinct their parents instinct began and they exchanged a worried glance. 'My baby!' 'My son!' they thought simultaneously, rushing towards the stairs.
With the power of motherhood Sicilia climbs the stairs faster than Elliot, when she got to the second floor, she strode towards Ragnar's room, knocking hurriedly on the door.
"Honey, are you okay? Is everything fine?" Sicilia asked, trying to sound calm to avoid scaring her son.
"I'm going to open the door, okay," Sicilia said, her voice laced with worry. She couldn't hear her son's response, and she couldn't imagine Ragnar being asleep since he had just gotten out of bed.
"Just open the door already!" Elliot urged, reaching Sicilia's side and twisting the doorknob, pushing the door open in a hurry.
"Why don't you answe—What the hell!" Elliot was about to scold his son as soon as he entered the room, but the only thing he saw was a golden dragon sleeping soundly in his son's bedroom, with a completely destroyed bed beneath it.
"Oh my god! My baby!" Sicilia said as soon as she got in covering her mouth in shock before hurriedly walking towards the golden dragon not even afraid of what Ragnar had become.
"What are you doing? You know how dangerous a full dragon can be," Elliot said, grabbing Sicilia's arm to stop her from getting closer to Ragnar. He knew from experience that even the closest relatives could be forgotten when one became a full dragon.
Sicilia pushed her husband back, looking up and down at Elliot.
"Ragnar isn't like you," she said, hastily crouching beside the golden dragon.
"Ah—" Elliot's mouth dropped open. He felt like he was turning to stone, cracking in two. His eyes turned dull, and he let out a dejected sigh. He knew his wife was so worried about their son that she wasn't even considering his feelings.
Elliot walked slowly towards the golden dragon, observing Ragnar with worry before crouching down beside Sicilia.
He reached out and touched Ragnar's golden scales. 'Cooler than mine,' he thought, unable to help comparing them to his own red scales. He released another dejected sigh, defeated by his son once again.
Elliot calmed down and traced his fingers over the scales while sneaking a glance at his wife.
"Ahem, you know you can be worried about our son without hurting my feelings, right?" Elliot coughed, wanting to get her attention since he could see that Ragnar was fast asleep.
"Can you be quiet? I'm trying to focus," Sicilia said with her eyes closed, attempting to connect with her son's mind through telepathy.
Elliot now felt his heart turn into a stone before breaking into two as he moved mechanically. 'Should I become a dragon as well?' he thought dejectedly, rubbing Ragnar's scales and resting his head on the golden dragon.
"I couldn't connect to Ragnar," Sicilia said, biting her lip worriedly. This had never happened before. Even those who were unconscious, she could connect with, even seeing what they were dreaming.
But this time, she couldn't connect with Ragnar, as if he wasn't in his body. However, she could still feel his emotions growing.
"What do you mean you couldn't connect? Is he gone?" Elliot asked in disbelief, raising his head to look at Sicilia with wide eyes. He thought Ragnar was just resting.
"I don't know, but I can still feel his emotions growing, irritation," Sicilia said, trying to hold back her tears.
"Okay, okay since you sense his feelings, it means he's fine, maybe he's just different that's why you couldn't connect after all although I don't know how, he is a full dragon now," Elliot said, hugging Sicilia on the shoulder. Although he was worried, As he didn't know the specific situation of Ragnar, he knew he needed to stabilize his wife first.
"As for irritation, we both know how a full dragon can be. We're already lucky it's just irritation, no anger, rage, or fury," Elliot said, kissing his wife on the back of her head.
"He's fine. You don't need to worry. He'll wake up, and then we can ask what happened, okay, love?" Elliot said, hugging his wife tighter to give her comfort and security.
Sicilia opened her eyes and bit her lip, tears welling up. She leaned towards her husband.
"Are we staying here? Until he wakes up?" Sicilia asked, caressing Ragnar's scales with worry and love.
"If that's your decision, of course we will," Elliot whispered into his wife's ear, hugging her and supporting her every action.
"No," Sicilia whispered, wiping away her tears. "I'll make his apple pie. I know he's waiting for it," she said, her voice breaking as she tried to pull herself together and appear tougher.
"He'll wake up for sure when he smells it!" Sicilia said, clenching her fist, as if setting a new goal. She walked out of the room, ready to make her son's favorite food.
Elliot released a sad sigh looking at his wife's back, he can feel his wife's unyielding spirit but he knows how fragile she can really be, and that's why she needs his support in these tough times.
"Son, you better wake up. You got a lot of explaining to do," Elliot whispered, caressing the golden dragon's scales.
"We'll wait for you, okay?" Elliot said, his voice filled with pleading, before going out of the room to help his wife.
The only one remaining in the room was the golden dragon, who continued to shoot out puffs of smoke from its nostrils, a sign of its comfortable sleep.
But what Sicilia didn't know was that Ragnar's consciousness space was protected by a system, so even she couldn't connect to him.
However, she was right about one thing, he was irritated. In Ragnar conscious space, a golden dragon kept shouting and flying, arguing with a redheaded girl.
"Let go! You brat!"
"I'm not a brat, I'm your friend!"
"I'm going to shake you off!"
"Shake? Is that going to be fun!"
"No!"

In Kamar-Taj, nestled in the Kathmandu Valley of Nepal, the Supreme Mage Ancient One, or Yao as she was also known, fanned herself with a wooden fan as she strolled through the training grounds.
Her gaze swept over her students, observing their progress in opening portals, guiding them with gentle advice. Her eyes, however, drifted to the location where the Time Stone was kept.
"Is there something wrong, Master?" Kaecilius inquired, following closely behind his master as he helped his fellow masters of the mystic arts with their training.
"I felt a disturbance in the Force," Yao replied, a knowing smile gracing her lips.
"You go continue helping them. I'll check something out," she said, heading towards the chamber where the Time Stone resided.
"Do you need my help?" Mordo asked, concern evident in his voice, as he watched her leave.
"No need. You and Kaecilius can continue what you are doing," she said calmly before opening a portal to the chamber and stepping through. She closed it behind her.
Yao reached for the Eye of Agamotto, putting it on, as its golden chain resting against her chest.
Then she began to use it, as the Eye opened glowing softly in the dim chamber. She closed her eyes, concentrating, using the Eye to observe the timeline.
Her body shimmered with a green glow, and then, as suddenly as it had appeared, the glow vanished. She opened, her eyes wide.
"The timeline has changed," Yao whispered, her voice barely audible. She couldn't see the future as clearly as she had before.
"Whether it's good or bad, only fate can tell," Yao murmured, removing the Eye of Agamotto from her neck and placing it back on its pedestal.
Yao opened a portal back to the training grounds, feigning nonchalance as she looked at Kaecilius, who was diligently assisting the other students.
'But now everyone has a chance to change their fate,' she thought, recalling the future she had seen, one where she would perish at the hands of Kaecilius, her own student. She had chosen that timeline, believing it was for the greater good, even if it meant her students would face immense challenges. But now, even she couldn't see what the future may hold.
"Is everything okay?" Mordo asked, noticing the Ancient One's return, followed by Kaecilius.
"It's fine. Nothing to worry about," Yao said, smiling softly at her student. 'I need to find the anomaly,' she thought, though she was pleased her students could have a better future. It didn't mean she would let things spiral out of control. She was the protector of the world, after all.
However, Yao didn't realize how difficult it would be to find Ragnar, the cause of the disturbance. As the Chat Group system was shielding him, making him almost invisible, even to her backer, Eternity.
