After assuring his family that he wouldn't be so careless again, they finally made their way home. His house, a spacious dwelling located in the central area of the city, boasted a beautiful garden that added to its charm. When they arrived, the clock read 8:37 AM. After a brief rest, the family gathered for a happy breakfast—Lin Shen's stomach growled in protest, filling the room with its demands.
As they sat down, his mother launched into one of her familiar scoldings—something Lin Shen hadn't heard in what felt like an eternity. "Why are you smiling like a fool? Do you think this is a joke?" she chided in a stern, angry tone, though a slight happy smile betrayed her true feelings.
"Oh, it's nothing," Lin Shen replied, still smiling broadly.
"Oh, really?" his dad, Lin Wan, teased from the other side.
"Yeah," Lin Shen said, shifting his gaze toward his father. Meanwhile, Lin Mei's quiet giggles floated in from across the table. She was truly delighted, for she rarely saw her brother smile like this. Normally, his smiles were forced—only appearing during discussions about cultivation or training—and he spent most of his day secluded in his room, emerging only for meals or school.
The breakfast continued with light-hearted chatter and laughter, the broad smile on Lin Shen's face a silent testament to the rare moment of genuine happiness he was experiencing.

"Huh? I thought you were going to school today?" his mother asked, frowning.
"Hmm, what do you mean? Isn't my schedule supposed to be school today?" Lin Shen replied, confused—he was certain that today was his school day.
"You are not going anywhere today. You've just recovered, so take some rest, understand?" his mother said in a commanding tone that brooked no argument.
With no other option, Lin Shen nodded. Being a good, sincere, and rather cute boy, he reluctantly agreed to postpone his plans of exploring his futuristic school until tomorrow.
After breakfast, Lin Mei headed off to school while his mother and father left for work. As for Lin Shen, he sat on his bed in his room, checking the system status:

It continued its journey, moving next to his muscles. There, it worked meticulously, honing each fiber until his muscles grew lean and strong. Not pausing there, the energy then shifted toward his tendons, fortifying them with precision, ensuring they could support even greater power.
The transformative tide surged through every layer of his body, refining him from the outside in, marking a profound and silent climax to his cultivation.
