7TH HELL
SAMIEL
I felt the tremors from the human world.
"It has begun." I smiled.
"Yes it has." Draneeve replied to me.
"Was it really necessary for you to kill his mother?" I asked
"It would cause him to act rashly and without thinking."
"If that's what you want then why did you ask for my help?"
"The others aren't strong enough to kill him, you are."
I watched the battle from my throne and things were heating up.
TENRIA (EARTH)
ASHER BLACKWOOD
I stared at the two demons in front of me. "Where is she?"
My energy erupted, the space around me was distorted.
"She's probably safe. Although I don't know what Lyriath will do to her." Xanereth laughed upon seeing my pain and anguish.
"I'll kill you both." I declared in anger.
"We would love to see you try." Both Xanereth and Voriath said in unison.
They both attacked me at speeds so fast it looked like they were teleporting.
I sensed energy infused attacks which I blocked with my arms.
"He's as good as we saw." Xanereth said and I felt his energy spike up. He attacked me with speeds far greater than how he had moved previously.
"Surprised?" He punched me in the face sending me flying backwards towards a mountain.
The impact upon colliding with the mountain caused it to crumble and fall.
I felt energy erupting from the Palace as I picked myself up. From what I sensed, I could feel King Aaron, Queen Aurora and Prince Arin's mana from where I stood.
"Seems Lyriath is toying with them." Voriath said to Xanereth.
"Yes, which means they don't have much longer to live." He replied.
I started running, I ran and ran trying to get to the palace as soon as I could.
NARRATOR'S POV
Lyriath attacked the royal family with poison magic, King Aaron was able to block it with a spatial barrier which held the attack in place.
"This isn't going to be easy for you." King Aaron declared.
"Well, it already is. I've grown tired of all of you and shall proceed to end things swiftly." She replied.
She raised her hands and a giant ball of energy formed, covering the entire Jardel continent.
King Aaron raised his hands as well and started chanting. "Gravity Magic: Black Hole."
He threw what was a tiny ball of mana towards Lyriath's giant ball of energy and his spell sucked up her own.
"How does it feel to know that there are capable humans?" King Aaron smiled and then felt something moving inside his chest.
He looked in front of him and saw a hand through his chest with his heart within that hand.
"The loud ones are always the first to die." Lyriath snarled and then dragged her hand from the King's chest.
King Aaron bled out from his mouth and chest and then fell to the floor, dead.
"Father!" Arin exclaimed and attacked as well, moving at speeds far beyond that of light.
Lyriath effortlessly dodged his attack and delivered a roundhouse kick at point blank range which decapitated Arin instantly.
"Why? Why are you doing this?" Queen Aurora cried.
Lyriath walked majestically towards her, with each step carrying more weight than the last.
She bent down to face Queen Aurora and held her chin up. "I'm doing this just because I can."
She snapped Queen Aurora's neck instantly which showed her ruthless demeanor.
"Mom!" Aethera shouted from where she was tied up.
"Now, now little one. You'll join your family shortly." Lyriath said and then went with a hard punch to Aethera's face but her first was stopped.
"A-Asher!" Aethera exclaimed upon seeing him, in all his glory but something was different.
He exuded anger, even her father had never been this angry in all his years of living.
Asher's eyes scanned the vicinity, he saw the dead bodies of King Aaron, Queen Aurora and Prince Arin Jardel.
His body started fidgeting, his energy flickered like that of a lightbulb.
His energy erupted like a volcano, pushing Lyriath backwards.
Voriath and Xanereth showed up at that exact moment.
"Hmm, you really wanted him to lose control huh?" Xanereth said to Lyriath.
"Well that's the plan." She replied.
ASHER BLACKWOOD
My anger rose with each passing breath, I stared at the three demons with immense hostility.
I attacked at blinding speed, Lyriath held me back while Xanereth and Voriath punched me to the ground.
"Is this all you've got?" Xanereth laughed.
"No!" Aethera shouted. "He has me."
She stood tall and confident against the demons who orchestrated the killing of her parents.
She attacked them. I had never seen her fight before as she was never truly one to hold grudges against anyone but here she was holding her own against three demons.
She swerved and dodged at speeds superior to the demons. I had never seen anyone move that fast. But then again something was up, it seemed like she was able to see their attacks before they happened.
She was punched backwards with immense power from Voriath, I caught her in my arms and sensed something strange.
"You can use precognition?" I asked, shocked at this.
"Yeah. How did you know?"
"It was pretty obvious the moment you started moving before they attacked."
"Dodge!" She screamed as she bent her head backwards whilst I held my arm up to block but it was a spell of light that moved like sword.
The attack sliced off my left arm, leaving me one-handed.
"Ahhh!" I screamed. I had taken attacks more destructive than that but why was I hurt by this.
"Asher!" Aethera screamed. She bent by my side and proceeded to use healing magic on my arm.
My arm started to heal and I noticed that Voriath was missing from where the trio previously stood.
Then I heard something, it sounded like a clean cut.
I saw the line on Aethera's neck. Tears in her eyes but then before it all went off, she smiled at me one last time.
