10. I THINK I’M GONNA FALL FOR YOU

They finally got to the house. Mrs Gladys pacing in front of the mansion left and right looking worried. "Mum, what's wrong" Vincent asked while Jae Won stood beside Vincent with a worried look but could not speak since they were speaking in the native language. "Your father called, he said you are needed at the office right now" she said. "Is everything okay" he asked in a low voice. "I'm not sure but he said there's an emergency at the office" she said while tapping her feet. "Go meet your dad at the office" she continued pushing Vincent into his car. Vincent drove off while Mrs Gladys and Jae Won entered the mansion looking back at Vincent.

It's been three days since the emergency at the office. Jae Won hardly sees him within these three days. Vincent leaves early while Jae Won is still asleep and returned when he is already asleep making Jae Won realizes how much he missed him. Jae Won came out of Vincent room as usual on the fourth day heading towards the living room.

He sees Wendell playing his game like always. He sat besides him watching him cursed out since he is loosing this round. After a minute did he realized someone was seated beside him, he turned to look Jae Won. Wendell smiled at Jae Won offering "do you wanna play" he asked in English looking at Jae Won in a suspense look waiting for a reply. Jae Won nodded in agreement.

They played for a while which made Jae Won forgot his worry about what was happening in the office and how he hasn't been seeing Vincent. Jae Won suddenly got curious "why don't you speak Korean like Vincent" he asked Wendell who suddenly paused his game fo a while looking confused. "No" he paused for a while "he learned Korean because of his girlfriend" he continued. "Okay" surprised by his answer Jae Won growled.

He was confused on why will he learned a language because of a woman but in all it has helped him but can't ignore the fact that he is kind of jealous. "Why is that" Jae Won asked with curiosity in his eyes. Wendell explained why he learnt Korean in his three years in the University. When Vincent met her girlfriend, she was a fan of k-drama and in order to impress her he started learning Korean. But he later fell in love with k-drama and still decided to learn Korean even when they broke up.

"Is that so" he asked with more jealousy drawn on his face. Looking around the living room as if he is looking for something. Jae Won stood up heading back to his room. "Where are you going" Wendell asked staring at Jae Won who all of a sudden became moody and was walking as fast as flash. "What's wrong with him" he thought shaking his head. He continued playing.

Three days later, now Jae Won couldn't hold the thought of Vincent learning Korean because of a woman. He decided to wait for Vincent to return from the office since he might not see him after he wakes up. He sat on the couch at the living room waiting while watching a series in the native language guessing what's happening. After a while he slept off.

Vincent came home so tired from the office. He entered the mansion yawning widely , something caught his attention while he was heading towards the stairs, he saw Jae Won sleeping on the couch so soundly. He went ahead to wake the sleepy head up for him to sleep comfortably on the bed. "Jae, wake up, it's late" he said while shaking Jae Won to wake him up but he has reached the level of no return. Vincent had no choice but to pick him up from the couch.

He headed towards the stairs holding Jae Won gently like uncooked egg. The moment he took one to two steps on the stairs Jae Won growled Vincent's name on his lip placing his arm around Vincent's neck pulling Vincent towards him. "Jae be careful, you are gonna make us fall" Vincent said while pulling himself backwards. He gently placed Jae Won on the bed covering him with the duvet when they got to Vincent's room.

Vincent went ahead to wash up only returned to see Jae Won awake as if he was never sleeping "sorry, I woke you up again" he said looking through his closet, Jae Won shaking his head in disagreement. "Actually I was waiting for you, I miss you" he said blushing from head to toe.

Vincent putting on his night gown and heading straight to the bed. He sat close to Jae Won "I'm sorry, but something has happened at the office and we are not sure who to trust. That's why daddy made me come to office" he said looking at Jae Won intently. Jae Won looking a little bit convinced "why, what happened" he asked with curiosity and worried in his eyes. He is worried about Vincent not getting enough sleep and also how they've hardly seen each other this week.

"Someone tried to sell our information to a competitor, but we were alerted. But yet we haven't found out who try to do that" he replied with do not worry face on. "It's something you shouldn't worry about, we will sort it out as always" he continued. "Okay" he said now with I'm not yet done look written on his face.

Vincent noticed there's more questions face "what is it?. Is something bothering you" he asked Jae Won but no reply. Vincent moved closer to Jae Won trying to convince him to say what was going on with him. "Jae, talk to me, what happened" he asked in a low voice sending chills down Jae Won's spine.

He lowered his head down "I heard about your girlfriend" he said which made Vincent chuckled. "So" Vincent asked in confusion looking straight at Jae Won. Jae Won who didn't expect such an answer raised his head to take a look at Vincent with a sad look. "Uuurm, I heard you learnt Korean because of her, why did you two break up" he asked.

"It's a long story" he said lying properly on the bed "why don't you get some sleep, we will talk about it next time" he said while he closed his eyes trying to get some sleep. Jae Won turned to look at Vincent who had already closed his eyes. With sadness in his voice "can't it be now, I woke up because of this" he said.

"Okay" he said while he sighed heavily. He rose from the bed and started narrating how he met his girlfriend in the first year of the University. He really liked her so he made his first move. But didn't work out as the girl really made it clear she isn't interested. He tried the second time but she still refused. Vincent now decided he would stop pursuing her. After a month, the girl approached her saying she wants to be with her now. Vincent didn't think of it much since he still liked her and agreed to it.

During the second semester of their first year, his ex girlfriend started asking for more money, designer bags and stuffs. Vincent didn't mind and bought everything she wanted untill one day, he decides to pay her a surprise visit after his class since she didn't have class that day.

Vincent went ahead to his ex girlfriend place only for him to hear his ex girlfriend talking to someone on the phone. She kept talking about how she wasn't interested in Vincent but wanted to spend his money because she later found out Vincent was from a rich family.

Upon hearing this, he entered the room asking about what he just heard but she denied all of it claiming Vincent heard it wrong. Later that week, Vincent found out she had another boyfriend. "This really broke my heart" he ended his narration looking moody. "I'm sorry" Jae Won said patting Vincent's back and placing his head on Vincent shoulder looking up at Vincent. Their lips almost touching each other.

They kept staring at one another, with their heart almost bursting out of their chest. "I think I need to go see a doctor" Vincent said turning to the other side of the bed. "Why" Jae Won asked. Vincent turning back to look at Jae Won "my heart keeps beating unusual, I think I'm gonna have a heart problem" Vincent said. Jae Won not sure if Vincent was really was having a heart problem or it was what he was feeling.

They slept in silence for a while, "I will take you out to hang out if I am free" Vincent broke the silence making Jae Won beamed with smiles sparkling the room. "I can't wait to hang out with you" he said looking at Vincent with puppy and cute eyes. "You looked like a child who is promised to go to an amusement park" Vincent said while signaling Jae Won to come lie on his chest with his arms wide opened. Jae Won didn't hesitate going for it like a little child he was any time he is with Vincent.

"I think I'm gonna fall for you" Jae Won thought while trying to lower his heart beat but to no avail.
