Adam instinctively touched the cave wall and knew it was volcanic rock, formed millions of years ago. He squeezed his eyes, trying to adjust to the darkness.
The walls blended with the water, making the newbie bump into several rocks as they moved deeper into the cave.
Calder noticed the boy's struggle to see and, with a single hand movement, made the water in his hand glow. In the cave, it was like he was holding a ball of moving light.
"That's better, huh?" the old god said, bumping on Adam's tense shoulders.
Quiet ever since they left the castle, the Water God was aware of Adam's apprehension. A lot was expected from this visit, especially after the Vulcan Town incident.
"How long until we get to him?" Calder asked Mar.
"We should be…" The sea human kept swimming until he stopped at a random spot. "Here. We have arrived."
All three Gods looked around, but there was nothing besides the same water and rocks.
