Chapter 7.6 - Back in Time

Distant electronic music began to fill his ears, pulling his consciousness to a different place.

In his chest, a burning anger spread through his body, driving his fist in an uncontrollable discharge of frustration and sadness. Adam recognized those feelings; he remembered that sensation. His knuckles pulsed with every hit.

Frightened by his own actions, Adam stopped with a jolt that pushed him back. Looking down, his hands were covered in fresh blood, staining the white marble floors.

Following the trail of red drops, he saw someone lying on the floor, motionless.

In complete shock, the boy felt shortness of breath and a sudden dizziness. Bringing his hand to his neck, which had been throbbing, he felt a thick, warm liquid. His heart pounded in his temples.

"Adam! Stay with me, son! You can't leave me here alone…"
