The New Elemental God

A tense mood fell over the ambiance. Adam didn't want to share that part because it could be misinterpreted. He wouldn't do that, but given his past decisions, he wouldn't blame them for being cautious.

"He said that when?" Calder seemed calmer but concerned.

"During our fight. I think he was just trying to scare me." Adam didn't want to get into detail about it. "The thing is, I know he won't come after me. He's counting on me failing at bonding and having to do things his way but I won't."

"How would you even find him unless he told you?!" Shu said, hovering over a small sofa on the other side of the room.

"Exactly, he's crazy." Adam walked over, trying to cool his head.

"But he knows where we were." Using a somber, low tone, Calder said before turning to them. "We still don't know how he found Adam in the Material world and again in Vulcan Town."
