Chapter 8.0 - Yema

Nervous and excited, Adam didn't care that he didn't know what that meant; he simply followed the Deity.

They went back to his room. Calder was already inside with the most important person of the moment.

In the corner of the bedroom, near Adam's bed, was a short person wearing a flowing, ornate robe with tribal patterns. As the boy got closer, the dark, round eyes of the Griot laid on him in the most serene manner.

The figure had a full mustache under a large nose. Adam had the vague memory of an aquatic animal that looked like him, but his features were human.

"Is this the famous Earth God?"

Standing about two meters away from the person, Adam stopped. It was curious how they emanated some mystical aura, just like the Shaman.

"Adam, this is Griot Yema. He is the cultural keeper of the Deeper Tribes." Calder announced, and the man grinned, affecting Adam unconsciously.

"It's a pleasure, young man."
