"Would you prefer the latest handbag or the newest outfit?"
I silently thought to myself, my only wish is to leave you.
But in reality, I shook my head and said, "No, I have more than enough already."
"No, I always feel like it's never enough," Alec said with a smile, planting a kiss on my cheek before heading out the door.
After Alec left, I quietly packed my belongings and left evidence of the abortion procedure on the table.
I also compiled all the photos and chat logs Vivienne had sent me, bundled them up, and sent them to the company group chat as well as all of Alec's business partners.
I turned off my phone and boarded the next flight home.
Goodbye, Alec.
"Alec, honey, shall we play doctor and nurse today?"
As soon as the words left her mouth, Vivienne, dressed in a nurse's uniform, sauntered towards him with a stethoscope and syringe, swaying her slender waist.
For some reason, Alec found himself less than enthusiastic about these things now.
