chapter 5

They had been running deep into the jungle for several hours, and now the sun was rising while the moon was setting.

Looking at the setting moon and the rising sun, Tanvi said, "This view is so beautiful. I wish I had my camera with me to capture this moment and keep it in my room." Saying this, she rested her head on Bhairav's chest.

Seeing her do this, Bhairav suddenly stopped. Gazing at her innocent face, he gently rubbed his cheek against hers. In that moment, Bhairav seemed like a five-year-old child, not dangerous at all.

Thinking this, Tanvi placed her finger on his lips. Bhairav looked at her with his sparkling eyes, which made Tanvi feel shy. She hugged him tightly, thinking, "He's so handsome. Any girl would fall for him. He has everything a girl looks for in a partner."

Seeing her shy, Bhairav kissed her head lovingly. Tanvi was surprised. "He kissed me so gently, like a human. He doesn't even seem like a beast," she thought.

Just then, Tanvi heard a voice. She looked back and said, "I think they're searching for us. We need to leave quickly! Let's go far from here. Can you tell me where we can stay safe so they can't reach us?"

Hearing this, Bhairav nodded, indicating that he knew a safe place. A big smile appeared on Tanvi's face, and she said, "Then let's go quickly!" Bhairav started running again at full speed and soon reached a waterfall.

Seeing the waterfall, Tanvi was amazed and asked, "Are you sure they can't reach us here?"

Hearing this, Bhairav shook his head, indicating "No, they won't reach here."

Tanvi was feeling quite strange when Bhairav suddenly took her into the water. She clung tightly to him and asked, "Why are you taking me into the water?" Bhairav didn't say anything and carried her to the other side of the waterfall.

Suddenly, a bright light appeared in front of Tanvi's eyes, blinding her completely. It felt as if she was falling. But just then, everything stopped, and when she opened her eyes fearfully, she realized she was still in Bhairav's arms. They were now far away from the jungle. It was a secret path to escape.

Amazed, Tanvi said, "You seem to know so much! Why didn't you escape from there if you knew all this?"

She looked at Bhairav and then answered her own question, "Maybe it's because you can't speak." Then she added, "Come on, we need to arrange food. I'm starving, and I can't even walk; my legs hurt."

Saying this, she looked at her feet, which had turned black with clotted blood. Her injuries seemed severe, and it was clear that she wouldn't be able to walk.

Thinking this, she became sad. Bhairav didn't like seeing her upset. He hugged her lovingly as if to say, "Don't be sad; I'm here with you."

Seeing his love and care, Tanvi said affectionately, "You're so good. You're nothing like that beast who tried to force himself on me."

After some time, Bhairav carried her to an open space. The sun had already risen, the sky was a brilliant blue, and the place was surrounded by beautiful trees and colorful flowers. A small river flowed nearby, and various animals roamed around peacefully. The place looked absolutely enchanting.

Suddenly, Tanvi's stomach growled, making her feel embarrassed. Bhairav gently put her down and quickly jumped into the water. Seeing this, Tanvi shouted, "Where are you going?"

She kept looking in his direction and saw that he was bathing. After the bath, Bhairav looked even more handsome. His long hair, which reached down to his waist, flowed beautifully in the water. Watching him, Tanvi muttered, "His hair is longer than mine. I'm jealous. How is his hair so beautiful?"

Just then, she noticed Bhairav catching fish. He caught several large ones and carried some back to her, placing them in front of her before sitting down.

Surprised by his actions, Tanvi said, "Can't you speak? At least try to say something."

Bhairav remained silent, which disappointed Tanvi. She then said, "Bring me some wood." Hearing this, Bhairav went off and returned with a large pile of wood. He placed it near Tanvi, took a lighter from her, and started a fire. He expertly began roasting the fish, which made Tanvi smile. "You're quite smart," she said with admiration.

As she stroked his head, Bhairav felt delighted and lowered his head. Tanvi continued stroking his head and smiled. "You like this, don't you?" she asked. Bhairav nodded and pulled her into his lap.

She smiled and kissed his forehead. As she looked at his lips, she noticed how red they were, like juicy cherries, and his teeth gleamed like pearls. "Your teeth are so shiny! How is that possible?" she asked. Bhairav just stared at her with his sparkling eyes.

When the fish was cooked, Bhairav carefully separated the bones and handed a piece to Tanvi. Smiling, she took it and began eating eagerly, as she was very hungry. She ate most of it, leaving only a little for Bhairav. After eating, Tanvi felt a bit better, though she still couldn't move her legs.

They sat there for a while in silence. Tanvi began thinking about how she needed to return home. Crawling closer to Bhairav, she said, "I need to go home. What should we do now? Where should we go?"

Hearing this, Bhairav hugged her tightly, as if to say, "You're not leaving me. You'll stay with me."

Somehow, Tanvi understood his emotions. She gently cupped his face and said lovingly, "You helped me. I won't leave you alone. I'll take you with me. I'll get you admitted to a hospital, and then you'll recover. After that, we both will..." She blushed and fell silent.

Bhairav, meanwhile, couldn't take his eyes off her lips. He felt an intense attraction toward Tanvi, something he'd never experienced before. Every human or girl who had come near him before had only ended up as his prey.

Meanwhile, in a dark, blood-soaked room, the stench of death lingered heavily. An eerie atmosphere filled the place. A man holding a torch entered the room.

As he stepped inside, he heard agonizing screams echoing in the air. Clenching his fists in anger, he shouted, "Stop it! The more you continue this, the farther you'll drift from your purpose. You will never achieve your goal!"

Just a few steps away, countless corpses hung from the ceiling. Blood was splattered everywhere, and old bones and decaying bodies were scattered across the room.

Suddenly, a girl, covering her body in haste, rushed out and accidentally bumped into the man.

Seeing the girl, the man clenched his teeth in anger and walked inside. There, on a bed, lay a man covered only with a white sheet, holding a hookah in his hand.

The man in front said angrily, "You need to control your lust. It's your greatest weakness."

The man on the bed took a deep breath, closed his eyes, and said in a calm voice, "If only I had controlled this desire 25 years ago, I wouldn't be seeing this day. I would have ruled alone by now."

Hearing this, the other man shouted, "How long will you hide this from everyone? Eventually, your biggest secret will come out."

The man on the bed suddenly grabbed a table lamp in anger and yelled, "No! No one will ever find out!"

He stood up furiously and wrapped a bathrobe around his body.

The other man gritted his teeth and said, "You won't gain anything by acting this way. You're only digging your own grave."

Hearing this, the man in the bathrobe said angrily, "I know exactly what I'm doing. They're in the mystical jungle now. Beyond that is our hideout. If they get there, the people there will learn the truth about us. We have to get there immediately."

The other man responded, "How long will you stay in denial, Kaal?"

Kaal laughed wickedly and said, "Until I achieve my goal. Ha ha ha ha!"

He continued laughing menacingly, and the man in front of him said angrily, "You're despicable! You don't care about your own blood, let alone others. How much sin have you accumulated to become like this?"

Kaal smiled and said, "You're my most trusted servant. You only know half the truth, and that truth should never come out. The day it does, will be your last on this earth."

Saying this, Kaal laughed again, a chilling sound echoing in the room.

Meanwhile, Bhairav and Tanvi had traveled far. Looking at the beautiful trees, Tanvi said, "These trees are so beautiful! I really love this place. I feel like staying here forever. But I have to go home to my parents."

Saying this, she became sad. Seeing her upset, Bhairav gently held her hand in his large hand and kissed it. Tanvi smiled and looked at him fondly.

They continued walking until evening turned into night without realizing it. The place looked even more magical at night. A bright, beautiful full moon illuminated the sky, which was dotted with countless stars. The cold night air was filled with the soft glow of fireflies and the chirping of crickets, with a faint mist slowly spreading across the area.

The beauty of the scene mesmerized Tanvi. She looked at Bhairav and said, "We should stop here. You must be tired. Let's rest now."

Hearing this, Bhairav stopped and gently sat her down on the grass. Looking around, he spotted a tree with large leaves. He quickly plucked several leaves and spread them on the ground, creating a makeshift bed for Tanvi. He helped her lie down, and she smiled at him.

Bhairav then hugged her gently, and Tanvi rested her head on his chest, feeling a sense of peace and warmth.

As they were lying down, a sudden sound of something sharp being thrown filled the air. It felt as if a pointed object had just whizzed past them. Tanvi sat up in shock, her eyes wide with fear. In front of her stood two men, with several others behind them.

Before Tanvi could process what was happening, Bhairav let out a loud roar of pain. A sharp weapon had struck his stomach, and blood was oozing out.

Tanvi was about to react when someone grabbed her wrist and forcefully dragged her away from the scene. She struggled, tears streaming down her face, desperately reaching out toward Bhairav, who had now collapsed unconscious.

The person who had captured Tanvi threw her roughly to the ground. Pinning her wrists down, he leaned over her, gritting his teeth in anger and said, "Now let's see how you escape me, my sweet desire."

Hearing this, Tanvi's heart filled with terror as she recognized him—it was Alice.

Alice was trying to force himself on Tanvi.

What will happen next? Will Tanvi be able to save herself, or will Alice cross all limits with her? Will Bhairav come to her rescue? What is the truth behind Kaal? Why is Kaal living as Alice? And most importantly, what is the connection between Kaal and Bhairav?
