chapter 8

Tanvi watched Bhairav nervously. Bhairav emerged from the water with a fish in his mouth and walked over to her. He dropped the fish at her feet and rested his head on her lap.

Tanvi smiled and gently ran her fingers through his hair. But suddenly, she felt something strange. Placing her hand on her stomach, she closed her eyes in pain and said, "It hurts so much!"

Seeing her in pain, Bhairav was shocked. He cupped her face and asked, "What happened? Why are you in pain?"

Tanvi screamed in agony, "Ahhh! It hurts so much!" As she shifted slightly from where she was sitting, Bhairav noticed blood on the spot. Her periods had started.

Seeing the blood, Bhairav became excited and moved toward her instinctively. Tanvi quickly placed her hand over his mouth and said, "No, no! Don't do that! These are my periods. That's why this is happening. Oh God, why does this always happen to me in such situations? I don't even have anything with me to handle this."

She closed her eyes in pain. Seeing her suffering, Bhairav didn't like it. He hugged her tightly and rubbed his face against her chest, trying to comfort her.

Feeling overwhelmed by his actions, Tanvi said anxiously, "Please don't do that. It's making me uncomfortable. What should I do? I need something—can you bring me some cotton?"

Saying this, Tanvi looked around. Her eyes landed on a tree nearby. There were several trees in the area, but one stood out with large, thick fruits, both ripe and unripe. Beneath it, some cotton-like material had fallen. It was a cotton-yielding tree.

Seeing this, Tanvi felt relieved and smiled. "Bhairav, can you bring me a lot of that cotton?" she asked cheerfully.

Bhairav nodded and quickly collected plenty of cotton and fruits, both ripe and unripe, from the tree. He returned to Tanvi and placed everything in front of her. Tanvi carefully extracted the cotton from the dry fruits, wrapped it properly, and used it as needed, finally feeling some relief.

However, the pain persisted, and she didn't know how to distract herself from it.

Noticing her discomfort, Bhairav pressed his lips together and rubbed his nose against hers. "You're in a lot of pain, aren't you?" he asked softly.

Tanvi placed her hand on his cheek and replied, "Yes, it's really painful. And I feel so cold." Saying this, she hugged Bhairav tightly.

Bhairav hugged her back, but his body was still cold as he had just emerged from the water. Tanvi shivered and tried to pull away, saying, "You're freezing! Stay away from me. Cold at this time is the worst thing ever."

As she moved back, Bhairav thought for a moment. Suddenly, thick white fur sprouted all over his body, and he transformed into a wolf. But this time, he looked adorable rather than fierce, with soft white fur and a fluffy tail.

Tanvi hugged him tightly, nestling herself into his warm fur. "Ah, this feels so much better. Stay like this, okay?" she said with a smile.

But just then, her stomach growled loudly. Embarrassed, Tanvi placed her hand on her stomach and said, "I'm hungry. I need food."

Meanwhile, a short distance away, a white bird with long flowing tail feathers was perched on a tree. The ends of its tail appeared as if they were ablaze. Suddenly, the bird vanished from the spot.

Back with Tanvi, after finishing the food she had brought with her, she placed her hand on her stomach and said, "I feel a little better, but there's still pain."

Hearing this, Bhairav lifted her onto his shoulder and gently rubbed her stomach. "If you want, I can free you from this pain for the next nine months," he said with a mischievous tone.

Tanvi's cheeks turned red, and she playfully tugged his hair. "I thought you were clueless, but you're shameless! You know everything, don't you?"

"Things aren't always what they seem," Bhairav replied with a sly smile. "And I genuinely want to free you from this pain for nine months."

Blushing even more, Tanvi stammered, "Don't say anything! I don't want to hear a word from you. You're crazy—absolutely shameless. I feel like hitting you right now!"

Despite her words, she hugged him tightly, her cheeks now completely flushed. She felt both embarrassed and happy, though she knew she wasn't ready for such conversations. After all, she had only known Bhairav for two days and wasn't prepared to rush into anything.

Bhairav continued moving forward with Tanvi on his shoulder.

Elsewhere:

"Did you see where they went?"

The white bird with long whiskers landed on the man's hand and spoke in its own language, which the man understood. This man was none other than Ellis.

Listening to the bird, Ellis smirked slyly and said, "No matter where you both run, I'll catch you eventually."

In the Jungle:

Tanvi, in a tired voice, said, "I spent the entire day walking with you and sitting on your shoulder, but I still feel exhausted. It feels like I've done so much work."

Hearing her words, Bhairav looked at her innocent face, flushed with pain, which only made her look more beautiful. He felt an uncontrollable desire to kiss those cheeks. Losing his control, he suddenly laid Tanvi down and came over her, capturing her lips in a passionate kiss.

Startled by his sudden action, Tanvi pressed her hands against his chest and tried to push him away. "No, no, don't do this," she said nervously.

Ignoring her protests, Bhairav grabbed her legs and, losing himself completely, licked her face with his long tongue. He had forgotten that he was a wolf, not a human.

Realizing he was making a mistake, Bhairav quickly transformed back into his human form. He hugged Tanvi tightly and kissed her again. But Tanvi, in pain, pushed him away and said tearfully, "It hurts a lot. Please don't do this to me. I'm not ready for it. I'm still too young."

Seeing her cry, Bhairav calmed down and gently asked, "Then when can I do it? I want to be with you and have that life together."

Taking a deep breath, Tanvi sat up and said, "I'm still young. Let me grow up first, recover my strength, and return to my parents. After that, if they agree, we'll get married. Then we can do everything you want."

She blushed as she spoke, but Bhairav looked disappointed and said, "But I want to have many children with you—small, adorable wolf pups."

Hearing this, Tanvi's imagination went wild. She pictured herself as a bride, sitting on a bed in the middle of the forest. Suddenly, a beautiful white wolf approached her. She lay down, and the wolf climbed over her, kissing her passionately. In no time, they had a lot of children surrounding them, all shouting, "Mommy, Mommy, Mommy!"

Startled by her own thoughts, Tanvi exclaimed, "No, no! I want human children, not wolf pups!"

Blushing profusely, she tried to shake off the thought. Suddenly, Bhairav picked her up in his arms and transformed into his wolf form, running swiftly through the forest.

Shocked, Tanvi exclaimed, "Why are you running so fast?!"

In reality, Bhairav was running at full speed to find a way to heal Tanvi so she could walk on her own and, more importantly, so they could one day have the many children he longed for.

Feeling bored, Tanvi asked, "Why didn't you kill me? What do you want from me? There must be a reason."

Hearing this, Bhairav stopped, gently placed her on a stone, and positioned himself in front of her. Placing his hands on either side of her, he leaned in close and whispered, "So I can have lots of children with you."

Bhairav looked at Tanvi's legs where there was blood. He quickly picked a cotton fruit, broke it open, and used the cotton to clean the blood. He then buried the cotton in the ground to prevent wild animals from smelling it.

Seeing how much care Bhairav was taking of her, Tanvi felt happy. However, when she realized that Bhairav's goal was to have many children, she became angry. "Does he think I'm just a baby-making machine? This man is crazy," she thought.

Her anger grew, and seeing her upset, Bhairav hugged her. Then, he started walking deeper into the forest with her. Soon, he noticed a bush with fresh leaves and flowers.

He recognized it as the medicinal herb he had been searching for.

Bhairav carefully set Tanvi down and went to gather the herbs, but just as he was about to reach them, something large flew past, injuring him.

He fell to the ground, and then a man appeared before him, followed by a huge and menacing crow. It was Ellis.

Seeing Ellis, Bhairav's anger flared, and he moved toward him. Ellis smirked and ordered, "Kill him!"

The huge crow lunged at Bhairav, but Bhairav stood firm, not moving an inch. The crow stopped in front of him.

Ellis, enraged, shouted again, "Kill him!"

But the crow suddenly turned and attacked Ellis, slashing at his face with its claws, causing his second eye to burst.

Ellis screamed, "I won't spare you! You betrayed me!" With that, he disappeared.

As Ellis vanished, the large crow transformed into a small white bird and flew to Bhairav, perching on his shoulder. Bhairav gently stroked its small head with his finger.

Tanvi was completely astonished by what she had just witnessed.

On the other side,

Ellis shouted in anger, "I need to take revenge! I won't let him go!"

Hearing this, the man standing in front of him smiled and said, "It's not that easy to defeat him. You'll need help, and not just from anyone. You know exactly who I'm talking about—I'm just reminding you."

Ellis replied angrily, "I know who I need. Anyway, after his birth, I had already killed him with my own hands. But now he has been reincarnated. I can bring him back, but I need to find him first. For that, I'll have to go among humans."

So, what's going to happen next? What is Bhairav planning to do? Who was he talking about needing to kill? Will he succeed in his mission? And will Tanvi and Bhairav's children ever come into this world? Keep reading to find out.
