chapter 7

Tanvi was completely shocked to see Bhairav speak.

On the other hand, Bhairav was extremely angry. He glared furiously at the man in front of him. Taking Tanvi aside, he suddenly transformed into a fierce, dangerous wolf. Seeing this, Tanvi quickly ran to him, grabbed his feet, and said angrily, "Bhairav, don't do anything to him! He wants to help us."

However, the man standing in front showed no fear. Instead, he smiled and said, "I knew you people would come here someday."

Hearing this, Tanvi was stunned.

A while later...

Tanvi was trying to stuff a large kebab into her mouth, a sight that was being keenly observed by two handsome men sitting in front of her.

The doctor said, "Wow, this girl is so innocent and adorable. I wish I had met her before."

The next moment, Bhairav punched him hard on the cheek and grabbed his neck, shouting, "She's only mine!"

The doctor, lying on the ground and rubbing his cheek, said, "Hey, calm down! I was just joking. She's yours. She's just really sweet and adorable, even while eating."

Bhairav, still angry, demanded, "Tell me how she can be cured. How can her legs heal?"

Hearing this, the doctor sat up, adjusted his sleeves, and said, "It's going to be really difficult. Can you handle it?"

Bhairav growled, "I can do anything."

The doctor looked at Tanvi and said, "You have to go to the Black Mountain in the jungle tomorrow. There, you'll find several herbs. Extract their essence and apply it to her legs. Only then will she heal."

Hearing this, Bhairav angrily roared, "Where is that place? Tell me!"

He spoke like a wild animal, making the doctor nervous. The doctor quickly hid behind Tanvi and said, "Please tell this beast to stay away from me! He'll eat me alive after getting his work done. And I'm too young to become anyone's meal!"

Hearing this, Tanvi looked at Bhairav and scolded him, "Bhairav, calm down, please! Why are you troubling this poor man?"

Hearing Tanvi's words, Bhairav immediately calmed down. He came close to her, laid his head on her lap, and started rubbing his face against her stomach.

Feeling this, Tanvi laughed and said, "It tickles! Stop doing that. I'm hungry. Let me eat. It's been so long since I've had such delicious human food."

Hearing her words, Bhairav stopped moving and quietly rested his head on her lap. Tanvi continued eating. Watching her eat, the doctor smiled and said, "You're so adorable, but he's just an animal."

Tanvi got angry hearing the doctor repeatedly call Bhairav an animal. She said angrily, "Yes, he's an animal, but he's a million times better than humans. Don't say anything about him."

Seeing Tanvi angry, the doctor said sadly, "Alright, I won't say anything anymore. I just thought you didn't like this animal and wanted to save him."

Sipping her soup, Tanvi responded, "It's nothing like that. He's amazing. I don't want to save him; he's the one saving me. We both just want to get out of here."

Hearing this, the doctor said, "Look, I've helped as much as I could. I can't do more than this. And remember, the jungle is full of danger."

Tanvi replied confidently, "My Bhairav isn't afraid of any danger. He'll devour anything that comes in our way." Saying this, she gently stroked Bhairav's lips with her fingers.

After finishing her meal, she asked, "Can I get some more food?"

The doctor, surprised, said, "How much can you eat? You're such a tiny girl!"

Tanvi smiled and said, "I need to take some food with me. I get really hungry, and I don't know if we'll find food there."

Hearing this, the doctor laughed and said, "You have your Bhairav, right? He'll hunt for you."

His comment annoyed Tanvi. She got up and said to Bhairav, "Let's leave."

Bhairav lifted her in his arms and started walking away. Seeing this, the doctor angrily said, "Wait! How can you just leave like that? I helped you! You need to pay me back."

Tanvi was surprised and asked, "What price are you asking for?"

The doctor smiled mischievously and said, "Yes, I want payment, and it won't come cheap. I want something expensive."

Tanvi became anxious but remembered she had some money with her. She said, "Alright, tell me how much."

The doctor smiled and said, "Do you think I'm a beggar? I don't want money. I want a kiss. I want to touch your lips with mine."

Tanvi remained silent for a moment. Then she smiled, looked at Bhairav, and said, "Bhairav, get started!"

As soon as he heard that, Bhairav put Tanvi down and leaped toward the doctor. The doctor screamed, "Forget the payment! Just leave, both of you, and spare my life!"

Hearing this, Tanvi said with attitude, "If I see you again, I won't spare you. I mean, my Bhairav will devour you!"

Saying this, Tanvi called Bhairav over. He lifted her onto his shoulder and walked out. However, after thinking for a moment, he went back inside, grabbed a thick blanket, and wrapped it around Tanvi to keep her warm before heading out again.

Tanvi smiled, feeling touched by how much Bhairav cared for her.

Indeed, Bhairav was truly wonderful. If it had been someone else, he might have eaten them by now.

As she was lost in these thoughts, night had fallen, and the moon was out. A light fog covered the forest. The day had been warmer, melting all the snow, and the ground had dried up.

However, the chill still lingered. Tanvi looked around, admiring the beauty of the forest. Though dangerous and intimidating, it seemed beautiful with Bhairav by her side. The trees, bushes, sounds of wild animals, and the starry sky created a mesmerizing atmosphere.

Bhairav had been walking with her for quite some time, and they had traveled a great distance. Resting her head on his chest, Tanvi sleepily asked, "Where are we going? How much longer will it take?"

Stroking her stomach, Bhairav said, "It'll take some time. Go to sleep."

Excitedly, Tanvi said, "I love your voice. Why don't you talk more? Keep talking."

Bhairav looked at her innocent, drowsy face with his calm eyes. He had the urge to kiss her lips and devour her, but he restrained himself. She was not his meal. She was something else—something he liked. No matter how hungry he was, he wouldn't eat her.

Noticing him staring at her, Tanvi lifted herself slightly and kissed his lips. Wrapping her legs around his waist and placing her hand on his cheek, she said, "Talk to me, please."

Bhairav remained silent, not wanting to speak. Disappointed, Tanvi sighed and said, "Fine, if you don't want to talk, don't. I'll just sleep."

Saying this, she closed her eyes. Bhairav carefully covered her with the blanket and suddenly transformed into a fierce wolf. He increased his speed, scaring the surrounding animals, who moved out of his way in fear.

Meanwhile, Tanvi felt incredibly comfortable, sinking deeper into sleep as Bhairav carried her swiftly through the forest.

Meanwhile...

Dim lights flickered in the room. In a large bathtub filled with red water, someone lay submerged. Blood was splattered everywhere.

Suddenly, the man opened his eyes in rage and said, "You did wrong. I'm coming for you. And now, I've heard her voice—the one I had silenced with difficulty. All of this is because of that girl. I will not spare her."

Saying this, he rose furiously and put on his bathrobe.

At that moment, he sensed something else had moved away from there.

On the other side...

Tanvi slowly opened her eyes and realized she was no longer in Bhairav's arms. She was lying under a tree, bewildered and searching for Bhairav.

A short distance away, a man stood with a black crow perched on his arm. It seemed as if they were communicating.

Suddenly, a voice came through his device, and he gestured to the crow, which flew away immediately.

The man then walked toward the tree, lifted Tanvi in his arms, and asked, "What happened?"

Tanvi hugged him tightly and said, "I was so scared."

Bhairav gently touched her lips with his fingers and said, "There's no need to be afraid. The greatest fear is standing right in front of you."

Saying this, Bhairav looked at her with his cold eyes, which frightened Tanvi. She hugged him tightly and said, "Don't scare me, please."

Bhairav remained silent and started walking. Suddenly, Tanvi remembered something and asked, "Have we reached the place we were supposed to go?"

"Hmm," Bhairav responded.

Bhairav simply responded with a brief "Hmm." Hearing this, Tanvi pouted and said, "Say something properly!"

But Bhairav remained silent.

Slowly, dawn broke, and as the rising sun illuminated the sky, Tanvi excitedly said, "I love watching the sunrise! I wish I could walk on my feet again."

Hearing this, Bhairav looked at her face and softly said, "You will walk very soon."

Saying this, Bhairav carried her to a stone by the riverbank and said, "Don't go anywhere. I'm going to find some food."

Innocently, Tanvi said, "Come back quickly. I'm scared."

Bhairav nodded and left.

Tanvi sat quietly on the stone, watching the surroundings.

Meanwhile, Bhairav had been searching for food for a long time but couldn't find any. Frustrated, he returned to the river, looked around, and then jumped into the cold water to catch fish.

Tanvi's gaze shifted toward Bhairav, who was either bathing or catching fish—she couldn't tell. But under the sunlight, his gleaming skin, toned muscles, triceps, and abs left her sweating.

Suddenly, Tanvi noticed something that made her both angry and scared. Bhairav was catching large fish and eating them alive. His entire face was smeared with blood, and his hands were drenched in it. Blood dripped from his abs as well.

What will happen next? Will Bhairav be able to heal Tanvi? What does Bhairav plan to do with Tanvi? Who is Alice, and what role does she play? Who was Bhairav communicating with? Is there a big secret about Bhairav that Tanvi will uncover? And will Tanvi and Bhairav grow closer?
