Nothing there was nothing, the whole place was fill with eternal darkness.
In this emptiness all Anastasia could think was to kill , yes she was so enraged. Yet somehow it all means nothing as she was dead...
In the abyss of darkness a light flickered in the distance. The moment she saw it, it felt as though her entire existence was screaming to reach it. Desperation surged through her as she reached out—
And then, something unexpected happened.
Something she never saw coming.
In the next instant, her eyes flew open.
————
When Anastasia opened her eyes, she found herself unable to move. She tried to lift her hands, but something felt off. Her hands… they were so small.
No, not just her hands—her entire body.
She had turned into a baby.
What? How? Hadn't she died?
Before she could process the shock, she heard a gentle voice.
"Sid! see our baby is awake". a women with shimmering green eyes and hair as black as the night sky was looking at Anastasia with joy.
Mother? it's mother. As Anastasia observe the situation while still uncertain about what exactly is happening.
When Anastasia opened her eyes, the first thing she heard was the gentle, soothing voice of her mother. It felt familiar, yet distant—like an echo from a life long past.
Blinking, she took in her surroundings, her vision still hazy. Then, her gaze met a pair of striking eyes. They seemed cold at first, distant and unreadable, but as they lingered on her, they softened and his expression changed into something she had never experienced
Her father
Her mind raced. Something was wrong. No—something was impossible. She shouldn't be here. She was supposed to be dead.
So why… why had she opened her eyes as a baby?
Then, like a thunderclap in her mind, the realization struck.
Don't tell me… time has been turned back.
Yes. That was the only explanation.
At first, Anastasia thought she had been given another chance. A chance to change things. Maybe this time, the same tragic fate wouldn't repeat itself.
But then—like a bolt of lightning—a terrible thought struck her.
No… no. I am a monster.
Everyone died because of me. It was all my fault.
If I hadn't existed… perhaps everyone would have been happy.
Her father wouldn't have had to sacrifice himself for her. The empire wouldn't have burned.
Yes—without her, everything would have been different. Better.
As Anastasia's mind spiraled with negative thoughts, drowning in guilt and regret, she suddenly felt warmth.
Her father had lifted her up, holding her close with careful, gentle arms—afraid to hurt her fragile form. His embrace was warm, steady, safe.
Then, he spoke. His voice, filled with tenderness, overflowed with words of love—words of a father who cherished his daughter beyond anything else. His eyes, which she had always known to be cold and distant, now shone with pure joy as he gazed at her.
From Anastasia's perspective, this was something she had never seen before.
Her father… was happy. Truly happy.
This warmth, this affection—this was all so new to her.
Suddenly, a little boy entered the room—he looked to be around two years old, with bright green eyes and silver hair.
Her brother.
"Mich" her mother called as she lifted him into her arms. The boy's gaze immediately landed on Anastasia, his eyes filled with the excitement only a child could have.
With a grin, he beamed at her and said, "I'm your older brother, Michal! Call me big brother!"
Laughter echoed in the room, warm and carefree. It felt so strange, so foreign to Anastasia. She had never experienced anything like this before.
In that moment, she didn't know what to feel. Should she appreciate it? Should she embrace the love they were offering her? Or… should she just disappear?
She didn't know what to do.
Maybe she could live with them, too. Maybe she deserved love after all. Maybe she could have friends—real friends who wouldn't abandon her.
Perhaps, just perhaps, she could call them Mom and Dad… feel the warmth of those words.
Maybe she could play with her brother, laugh with him, share moments she never thought she'd have.
Maybe… just maybe, she could have a life different from the one she remembered.
But then, a deeper, darker thought rose within her.
She had to survive.
For one reason — to destroy the Kingdom of Solara.
She couldn't allow herself to get lost in it. She couldn't let herself forget why she had been given this second chance.
She had to live. Live so she could fulfill her destiny.
