Chapter 6

When Liam came to the agreed place, he knew immediately he had made a mistake.

A nightclub.

Of course.

The volume of music was so deafening that seemed to vibrate the ground under his feet. Neon lights flashed in purple and blue tones, creating a hypnotic but overwhelming atmosphere. The air was loaded with the smell of alcohol mixed with sweet and penetrating perfumes. And in the middle of all that sensory chaos, I was Valeria.

She expected it in the bar, impeccable as always. His black dress, tight and elegant, highlighted every curve of his body provocatively. His hair, loose and wavy, falled into soft waterfalls on his shoulders, and his lips shone with a subtle tone that captured the light hypnotizing. It was beautiful, too beautiful, and that only increased Liam's discomfort.

A tickle of concern toured his back. Something was not fine. But I had already accepted to come, and I could not throw back now. He breathed deep, holding his doubts, and approached her.

"He was, cute," Valeria said with a seductive smile, crossing his legs slowly as he looked at him up and down.

Liam sat next to her in the bar, trying to keep his composure.

Yes. Here I am.

Valeria swayed his fingers with elegance, calling the attention of the Bartender.

"Water to start," he said naturally, as if it were the most normal in the world.

Liam arched an eyebrow, surprised.

- Rad more?

-We have all night, Archer. There is no hurry, "she replied, sliding a smile that seemed to hide something else.

Liam did not respond, but the feeling that this was a trap did not disappear. They drank their water in silence while Valeria made trivial questions about the school and his daily life. He looked relaxed, lovely, but there was something in his tone and his eyes that he delayed a precision calculator.

And then, things changed.

"We're going to do this more interesting," Valeria said with a pyrmost smile, calling the Bartender again. A pair of drinks.

Liam frowned, uncomfortable.

'No.

Valeria looked at him with false innocence, leaning his head slightly.

'Don't?

"I do not drink," he said firmly.

She laughed softly, leaning the elbow in the bar while watching it with a penetrating look.

- You are really always like that serious?

Liam sighed, feeling that the situation escaped himself.

-It is not serious, it's having limits.

"All of them," Valerian repeated, dragging the word on his lips as he played with the tray of his drink. Well, Archer, I thought this was an appointment.

Liam looked at her, trying to keep calm.

-Tou said you would just be a departure.

"The appointments are outdated," she replied with a playful smile, as if I were enjoying her discomfort.

Liam was about to replicate when Valeria slipped a glass to him.

-You just one. It does not happen anything.

Liam squeezed the jaw, feeling the pressure to increase.

-Valeria ...

-All alone. I promise you that I will leave you alone, "she said with a sweet expression that she could not hide his insistence.

Liam sighed, frustrated. I did not want to drink, but if that meant that I would finally leave it alone, maybe it was worth assuring. He took the glass and drank a small sip, feeling the burning flux off to his throat.

Valeria smiled with satisfaction.

-That's all I wanted.

But he did not stop there. Throughout the night, he continued to insist. A plot plus. Only another one. Just a little. And although Liam resisted at the beginning, the constant pressure and the insistence of Valeria eventually made him assign. I was not completely drunk, but his mind was beginning to feel heavier, slower.

And it was at that time when Valeria changed the game.

-¿Sabes? He whispered, approaching his ear. I like you, Liam.

His hot breath brushed his skin, and his hand slid over his thigh with a clear intention. Liam tensed, feeling a knot in his throat.

-Valeria ...

She smiled, her fingers drawing circles in his leg.

-Don't worry. I just want you to relax.

Liam tried to move, but his body did not respond as he wanted. His mind was cloudy, his slowest senses. I was not completely out of itself, but I was definitely not in control. And Valeria knew it.

He slid up closer to him in the club of the club, with a seductive smile on his lips.

"You're so cute like that ..." He whispered, sliding a hand for his face.

Liam tried to protest, but the words did not leave. His body felt heavy, as if he were caught in a thick fog.

Valeria did not hear it. Or he did not want to hear it. He leaned over him and stole a kiss. Gently at first, but then deeper, more insistent. Liam felt a chill to go back his back. I did not want this, but his body did not react fast enough.

Valeria's hands slowly lowered, brushing his chest, sliding with the clear intention to go further.

"I'll seek, Archer ..." He murmured against his lips. Just let yourself be carried ...

But then, everything changed in an instant.

Before Liam could process it, a firm hand clung to Valeria's hair and pulled it abruptly back.

-But what the hell ...? She shouted her, taking her hands to the head.

Liam blinked, his mind still confused. When he looked up, he saw Ethan there, but he would not smile. His eyes were dark, his tense jaw. His aura gave a context fury that Liam had never seen him in him.

- What is you think you're doing? Ethan asked, his voice but dangerously.

Valeria tried to let go, telling him with his eyes.

-Tou make me, damn idiot!

But Ethan did not. Instead, he pulled her a little stronger, forcing her to turn away from Liam.

"I'll tell you one time, Valeria," he said, his voice sharpened like a knife. If you turn it back like that without your consent, you're going to regret it.

The heart of Liam was beat forcefully, although his body continued to feel stunned. Valeria looked at him with fury, but also with some fear.

-Do you're exaggerated! It did not happen anything!

Ethan smiled, but his smile had nothing fun.

-Ah, of course. Because I force someone drunk to kiss you and put your hands under the clothes is completely normal, right?

Valeria squeezed his lips, his face red for anger and shame. But Ethan did not give him a chance to respond. With a last pull of his hair, he released her. Valeria stuck back, taking a hand to his head as he was overlooked.

"This has not finished," he was, he runs a last look at Liam before turning and disappearing from the crowd.

The silence between them was heavy. Ethan breathed deep and ran a hand by hair, turning his look at Liam. His expression changed in an instant. Fury disappeared, replaced by a genuine concern.

Ethan leaned towards him, his soft voice but full of concern.

-¿Liam? He asked, touching his face with a delicacy that contrasted with the fury that had shown moments before. Are you ok?

Liam swallowed, trying to order his thoughts. He still felt dizzy, as if the world rotates around him. But more than that, he felt ... dirty. Vulnerable. The feeling of the hands of Valeria in his body, the way he had manipulated the situation, everything accumulated in his mind as a heavy slab. I could not help feel that he had lost control, which had been dragged to something that he never wanted.

"No ... I'm not well," he fully murmured his team. He looked at Ethan, his eyes reflecting a mixture of confusion and shame. I should not have come. There should be ... "He interrupted, squeezing his fists hard, as if he tried to hold on to solid in the middle of chaos.

Ethan watched him carefully, his expression full of understanding and something else, something that Liam could not identify everything. Maybe it was fault, maybe it was rare contemporary, but at that moment, the only thing that mattered was the calm that Ethan radiated.

"It's not that," Ethan said firmly, placing a hand on Liam's shoulder. She should not have done that. No one has the right to touch you without your consent, Liam. Anyone.

Liam nodded slowly, but the feeling of dirt did not disappear. He felt exposed, as if something inside him had been violated. They were not just the valerian hands, it was the way he had manipulated the situation, how he had led him to a place where he did not want to be.

"I know ..." Liam whispered, down the look. But I can not help feel that ... that I should have done something. I should have left before. I should have said not from the beginning.

Ethan sighed, his hand slightly pressing Liam's shoulder.

-It is not always easy to say that, not especially when someone as Valeria is involved. She knows how to press, how to manipulate. It's not just that you feel like that, but it's not your fault. The important thing is that you are safe now.

Liam nodded again, but tears began to accumulate in his eyes. I did not want to cry, not here, not now, but the combination of alcohol, exhaustion and overwhelming sensation of vulnerability was too much.

"I do not want to feel like that," he said in a low voice, his broken voice. I do not want to feel that ... I have no control.

Ethan looked at him with an expression of pain, as if each word of Liam hurt him physically. Without saying anything, he approached a little more and wrapped it in a firmly but careful hug. Liam tensed at first, but then he relaxed, allowing himself to be based on Ethan, even if only for a moment.

-I'm not you alone, "Ethan murmursed against his ear

Liam closed his eyes, feeling how tears finally fell. I did not know how long they stayed like that, but at that time, the only thing that mattered was the feeling of security that Ethan gave him. Although the world around him was still a chaos, in Ethan's arms, for the first time in that night, Liam felt he could breathe.

Ethan did not say anything as he held Liam.

He did not try to calm it with empty words or whispered promises that everything would be fine.

He just hugged him.

Firm. Sure.

As if he were making sure that Liam did not break completely.

But then, Ethan spoke.

-It is curious.

His tone was low, almost melancholic.

Liam felt his heart beat more strongly.

'What?

Ethan held her a little stronger before responding.

-You always act as if you will not need anyone ... but when you are on the edge of the collapse, you come to me.

Liam tensed.

He opened his eyes slowly, but he did not poured away.

Because Ethan was right.

Because Ethan was always right.

And that scared him.

Ethan sighed against his ear, with a soft and almost mocking laughter.

- Do you know how dangerous it is to depend on someone like me, Archer?

Liam swallowed.

Ethan was not someone reliable. I know that he had his own agenda.

But at that time, with the heat of his body against his and the sound of his breath nearby, Liam could not do anything else to stay in his arms.

Because, for a long thing that denied it ...

He felt good.

Too well.

And that was the most scary of everything.

---

Meanwhile ...

From the distance, Valeria observed.

His expression did not show rage.

He was not showed frustration.

Only ... Determination.

Because if Ethan believed he could stand on his way ...

If Liam thought he could reject it so easily ...

They were very wrong.

---

Valeria walked away with firm steps, his mind by making every detail of his revenge.

I was not going to allow Ethan to interpus himself in his way.

I was not going to let Liam escape so easily.

The night was cold, but his body burned with the frustration of having been humiliated.

Enjoy while you can, Ethan ... because this is not over.

He walked down a short driven when, suddenly, a cold hand covered his mouth.

-¡Mmm!

His eyes widened in his hands while his body was tense

He tried to force, but the pressure in his mouth and the force he was holding her immobilized them.

His heart was frothically while trying to bite his hand that retained him, but his attacker was stronger.

"It's back, beautiful," a serious voice whose her ear. It will not take much.

No.

She was not going to allow it.

Valeria moved his body with violence, kicking back with all his strength.

But before he could get free, he felt a puncture in his neck.

His view turned blurry.

His muscles lost strength.

His breathing slowed down.

And before I could even scream, the world turned completely dark ..
