The original character Yami Kurogane and the plot of this fanfiction are my own creation.

Four months had passed since Yami arrived at the Kurogane household. During this time, his world expanded, becoming a labyrinth of sounds, colors, and textures. Every corner of the house transformed into a field of exploration, where the soft colors of the walls and the familiar sounds of laughter intertwined in his mind. However, this expansion also brought with it a growing sense of unease.

As his senses stabilized, Yami experienced a surprising clarity. His vision sharpened; he could distinguish the nuances in Haruno and Masato's facial expressions. However, there was something unsettling about the way his mother looked at him, as if she could see through him, as if she knew every dark corner of his mind. That gaze made him feel exposed, vulnerable. What did she really know? The idea that someone could know his darkest thoughts filled him with terror.

His auditory capacity also improved significantly. Sounds that once seemed like indistinct murmurs were now clear and defined. He could hear the soft whisper of the wind through the windows and the distant chirping of birds in the garden. More importantly, he began to recognize his parents' voices; each tone and inflection offered him clues about their emotions. However, even though he could hear clearly, the words remained a mystery. The syllables that left their lips were like distant echoes he couldn't fully comprehend.

Yami utilized his peculiarity to learn at an accelerated pace. He attentively observed every interaction between Haruno and Masato, absorbing fragments of language like a sponge. At first, he could only babble out isolated syllables and incoherent sounds; however, each day he managed to imitate the sounds he heard better. But there was something more: as he tried to understand what they were saying, he felt a strange mix of frustration and superiority. Why should he learn this language? In his mind, he was destined to be greater than all of them.

Regarding his motor skills, Yami began to develop a surprising autonomy for his age. He had learned to crawl with determination; every movement was a personal conquest. With effort and constant practice, he managed to slide across the floor with increasing agility, exploring his surroundings with insatiable curiosity. Each small advance was a strategic victory; every time he reached for a toy or changed position without assistance, he felt he was getting closer to his goals.

One afternoon, while lying in his crib, Yami fixed his gaze on the plush bear he had chosen as his constant companion. The softness of the toy comforted him; it represented both security and a tool for manipulating his parents' attention. When Haruno entered the room and saw him looking at the bear with interest, she smiled.

—Do you like your friend? —Haruno asked as she approached.

Yami maintained a serene expression as if he fully understood what she was saying. At that moment, he decided to use the plush toy to draw more attention to himself. With a slight movement of his arm, he managed to knock the bear onto the floor.

—Oh no! —exclaimed Haruno—. Let's pick it up.

Yami felt an internal satisfaction as he saw how his strategy worked. While Haruno bent down to retrieve the toy, he took the opportunity to observe her more closely, capturing every detail of her face and every nuance of her voice.

However, there was something larger at play; Yami knew he had to maintain an emotional distance while continuing to manipulate family dynamics in his favor. His goal was clear: to become a master of deception within this family environment.

One night, while everyone gathered in the living room watching television, Yami felt a surge of curiosity upon hearing noises coming from the device. He strained to turn toward the screen; although he still couldn't sit up completely unsupported, he managed to prop himself against the edge of the crib for a better view.

Suddenly, a familiar figure appeared: All Might, the greatest hero in the world. His presence illuminated the screen with vibrant energy; Yami felt a mix of awe and terror wash over him as he realized what world he was truly trapped in. He was surrounded by extraordinary people, where stories he had heard before came alive before his eyes.

As he watched All Might smile confidently from the screen, Yami felt how carefully constructed walls around his mind began to crumble. The pieces started falling into place: the inexplicable displays of strength from Masato, Haruno's penetrating gaze—everything made sense now. This was not just an ordinary home; he was immersed in a universe full of dangers and wonders.

The revelation was overwhelming; not only was he in a new home but also immersed in a world where heroes truly existed. As he watched All Might with growing anxiety and fear about the unknown—constantly fearing discovery—Yami felt something within him awaken even stronger: an intense desire to understand this new world and find his place within it.

With that spark ignited inside him and an increasing paranoia about the unknown surrounding him—the constant possibility of being discovered—Yami knew he had to act cautiously. Every step had to be calculated, every movement had to be part of the plan he had been silently weaving from the very beginning.
