Kate
"So?!" Chloe asks.
I sigh, not wanting to indulge in any of this.
"Girl, come on!"
I quickly gulp down my tequila shot.
"How was it?" I wanna know everything."
I sigh again.
"Kate!"
"It went pretty great."
"That's it?" Gina asks.
"Are you seriously not going to give us gist on how your date went? We didn't come out to just hear you say it went great." Chloe doesn't let it go.
"Chloe!" Gina berates her from asking any further.
"What?!"
"Can we just let her breathe for a sec?"
"Look, girls, I've had a long day. Can we raincheck this?"
Chloe scoffs and rolls her eyes, bored. Her eyes quickly sparkle like she's figured out something very interesting.
"Are you sure you weren't rejected already?" She snickers behind her hand.
"Excuse you?"
"What? Then why act all high and mighty for just a simple dinner?" She scoffs, then gulps down her tequila shot.
"You're such a b*tch, y'know. It's ridiculous that I even thought of you as a friend." I finally call her out.
I don't know why I let such a person walk all over me, all in the name of friendship!
"Tell me what I don't already know, honey." She drunkenly laughs.
"Am outta here." I figured that it's time I left.
"Go on, leave!"
"Chloe, stop it!" I hear Ginna scold her as I make my way out of the night club.
I quickly freshen up and lie down on my bed after getting home safely. I just can't get that dinner date out of my head. Gosh, I hope Xavier also enjoyed our conversation like I did.
I've liked my boss for the 3 years that I've worked with him. Xavier's literally my dream guy; he's perfection itself.
I finally had dinner with him today. He's so easy to talk to. The conversation at dinner went really smoothly.
I'll make him mine. That's a promise!
