Happy ending?

The seasons continued changing just like the seniors at Elitecrest High made it through graduation. The excitement among them could be felt from a mile away. Everyone was happy to finally be done with high school.

At the main entrance gate, Nadia, Blake, and all her friends looked over their shoulders, bidding their final goodbyes to Elitecrest High with a smile etched on their faces. They promised to never return.

Unlike the excitement on the graduation day, the principal looked back at the school he was in charge of with a nostalgic expression on his face. It was sad knowing that Elitecrest High was closing. It'd never be opened to the public ever again.

It was unfortunate that one of the students committed suicide. That's what prompted the closing of Elitecrest High. It was a big case that stirred the nation for a while. During that time, students at Elitecrest High couldn't help but be anxious and worry about going back to school each day, considering that someone died at their school.

Just like them, the public and police detectives believed that there was foul play involved. They were too many loop holes that remained unsolved in the supposed suicide case.

The security guard removed the key after locking the main entrance gate. The principal could only hope in his heart that the deceased wouldn't feel aggrieved because the case was later closed after police investigation failed to come up with any lead that'd suggest murder.

I hope you're resting in peace, Kaia Smith. He thought before leaving the premises after glanching at Elitecrest High one more time.
