A terrible nightmare

The man slowly walked around Zeyu, his blue eyes staring sharply as if they penetrated her soul. Kailu watched his movements with full alertness. He felt that there was something suspicious about this man and prepared to protect Zeyu if something happened.

Then the man opened his mouth, his voice deep and full of mystery. "Your eyes are blue like mine. Are you a descendant of the Moon Eye element family?"

Zeyu was surprised to hear the question. "How did you know? Are you also from that family?"

The man smiled faintly. "Of course. Do you know that these eyes have power in them?"

Zeyu frowned. "Power? I never knew about that."

Meanwhile, Kailu and his friends just listened to their conversation carefully, not wanting to miss any important information. Then, the man told Zeyu to look into his eyes. Zeyu hesitated for a moment, but for some reason, she couldn't refuse. When their eyes met, Zeyu felt her vision start to blur. She seemed to lose control of her body.

It turned out, the man had hypnotized her.

The man smiled wider and whispered, "I am your friend, and they are your enemies. Now, kill them."

Zeyu's eyes turned sharp. He turned and charged straight at Kailu. Kailu was shocked, but he did not fight back. "Zeyu! Wake up! I am your friend!"

Meanwhile, Zulian immediately took action. "Yuke! Aline! You guys stay together! I will face this man!" Zulian stepped forward and tried to attack the mysterious man with a quick punch. However, the man easily blocked Zulian's attack and knocked him to the ground with one swift movement.

On the other hand, Kailu continued to try to revive Zeyu, even though his body was starting to be covered in wounds from the repeated attacks from his own best friend. His breath was labored, but he persisted. "Zeyu... wake up... It's me, Kailu..."

However, Zeyu did not stop. His attacks became more violent, making it increasingly difficult for Kailu to survive.

The mysterious man sighed. "Enough. I've had enough. It's time to end this."

He took out a gun from under his coat and pointed it at Zeyu's body. Kailu who realized this immediately moved quickly and pushed Zeyu aside. A shot was heard.

Blood flowed.

Kailu was hit by the shot. He fell down gasping for breath.

Zeyu who saw it suddenly felt his consciousness return. His blank stare disappeared and was replaced by shock. "Kailu!"

He rushed to Kailu who was lying weakly. Kailu smiled thinly, raising his hand slowly to touch Zeyu's cheek. "Finally... You're awake..." he said weakly, before his eyes closed and his heartbeat stopped.

Zeyu was silent. The world felt like it had stopped. Then, tears flowed down his cheeks. "No... This is my fault..."

Zulian who saw the opportunity immediately took a wooden stick and intended to attack the mysterious man from behind. However, the man turned around quickly and stabbed his knife into Zulian's body.

Zulian fell down. Not moving anymore.

Now, only Zeyu, Yuke, and Aline were left. They stared at Kailu and Zulian's lifeless bodies with expressions of disbelief.

The man stared at Yuke and Aline with a cruel smile. In an instant, he took out two pistols and fired them at them.

"Don't!" Zeyu shouted, but it was too late.

It was all over.

Only Zeyu was left kneeling amidst the bodies of her dead friends. The man approached her and pointed the gun at her face. "Goodbye."

A gunshot rang out.

Zeyu woke up gasping for breath. Cold sweat soaked her forehead.

It turned out... it was all just a nightmare.

Beside her, Kailu also woke up and looked at her in confusion. "Zeyu? What's wrong?"

Zeyu caught her breath. "I had a nightmare... I dreamed that a blue-eyed man killed all of you..."

Kailu stared at her for a moment, then chuckled. "It was just a dream, don't worry. No matter what happens, I'll always be by your side."

Zeyu stared at her deeply. Even though it was just a dream, the feeling of loss he felt felt so real. He nodded slowly.

However, deep down, he felt that the dream was not just an ordinary dream.
