a fanfic of storyline of the famous game undertale that reworks alot of the storyline with a expansion beyond the game. this storyline has 2 main characters, chara and sans with the story changing perspectives regularly to show both sides of the storyline.

undertale: path of renewal

5 days passed like good food on a dining table, chara/frisk have been officially adopted in the dremur family by toriel. Frisk is currently eating with toriel on the dining table drinking soup.

Chara:*in mind* she really spoils us, doesn't she?

Frisk:*in mind* ye she does and we like it all.

Chara:*in mind* damn right we do but it's time we start our preparations we got sans and the gang to defeat and turn into allies... We will need everything we can to fight that 'thing'.

Frisk: * in mind*we will but we have bigger problem right now.

Frisk:*in mind* we need some magic knowledge but I don't think we can ask toriel for that, she will probably say it's too dangerous for a child of our size to learn magic.

Chara:*in mind* let's leave for the bedroom and discuss it with the guide.

Frisk leaves and goes to her bedroom.the guide appears as frisk sits on the bed.

Chara: we need to find a teacher or something.. you got any ideas guide?

Guide: I believe we could try recruiting asriel with a deal.

Frisk: that guy probably won't, didn't he try to erase everything in one of those pacifist resets? I barely managed to calm him down.

Guide: how about we offer to help him get a decent body?

Chara: how? I don't remember you mentioning anything about those things being within your power.

Guide: I may be unable to but that doesn't mean somebody else can.. the soul Tag system's host has soul magic, he can probably help him evolve to a better race like a treant or a dyrad or even an elf.

Frisk: that's a pretty good idea but we need to increase our strength if we want to make him believe us, show me the karmic panel.

Frisk: how should we increase the stats?

Chara: how about raising all physical stats to 14 or 15? We ain't got no magic now anyway except the karmic stuff.

Frisk: hey guide what do you think?

Guide: host I say you spend 7600 good karma to increase both magic stats to 10 and use all current evil karma to increase the physical stats.

Two light exits the guide one red and other green, the red light enters their soul, the green light envelopes their body and gets absorbed by it.

Chara: that was the first time we used that, and it felt Amazing!

Frisk: *a drewzy tone*gotta use it less often ... or I might get addicted.

Chara: damn right you will weakling, you can't even handle some strong coffee.

Guide: host, it will take 10 hours for physical strengthening to end.. I suggest that we proceed to sleep and meet asriel tommorow.
