Chapter 5: The Business.
The next morning, Ethan called Lily into his office. "I want to discuss the business side of our plan," he said. Lily nodded happily. "What do you want me to do?" She asked. Ethan smiled. "Lily, I want you to be my friend," he said. "I need you to help me make decisions and do my job."
Lily's eyes widened in surprise. "I don't know if I'm doing the right thing," she said. Ethan laughed. He said, "Lily, you're better than you think." "You're smart and you're not afraid to speak your mind."
Lily expressed her happiness. "Thank you, Ethan," she said. "I'll do my best to help you."
Ethan looked at her and nodded. "I know Lily will be fine," he said. "Now let's get down to business."
The two chatted all day, which surprised Lily. She had never been interested in shopping, but Ethan made it fun and challenging. At the end of the day, Lily was tired but happy. She had learned a lot and wanted to learn more. As she left the office, Ethan turned and smiled at her. "Lily, you're natural," he said. Lily smiled and nodded proudly. "Thank you, Ethan". Back in the palace, Lily felt at peace. She was right where she was supposed to be. The next few days were very difficult. Lily and Ethan had both worked hard to build their businesses. Lily was impressed by her speed at learning and business skills. Ethan was also amazed. One day, he said, "Lily, you're a fast learner."
Lily smiled and nodded proudly. "Thank you, Ethan" . As the days passed, Lily found herself immersed in her new job. She was not only Ethan's wife; she was also his partner. As they worked together, Lily's interest in Ethan grew. She praised his intelligence and business ability. His heart showed her compassion and mercy. After a few weeks, Lily realized that she was really starting to fall in love with Ethan. But she was too scared to tell him, fearing rejection. So, she hid her feelings. As time went on, Lily and Ethan's business grew. They were a dangerous team determined to win. As they stood together and looked out over their kingdom, Lily felt proud. She had come a long way from being a little girl to a salesperson. Then she realized that she owed it to Ethan, her husband, her partner, her lover.
As time went by, Lily and Ethan's relationship improved. They were no longer just business partners, but friends, confidants. Ethan brought comfort to Lily that she had never felt with anyone before. He could be alone with her without fear of being judged or rejected.
This was how Ethan felt about Lily. He was impressed by her intelligence, wisdom, and beauty.
As they stood together, looking out over their kingdom, Lily felt proud. She had grown from a little girl to a successful businesswoman.
She also knew that she owed her husband, her partner, a debt of love.
Lily turned to Ethan gratefully and smiled. "Thank you".
Ethan looked at her, his eyes full of questions. "For what?" he asked.
Lily's smile widened. "For everything," he said.
Ethan's eyes softened and he reached out to hug her. He said, "Hello, Lily." They stood there, hand in hand, Lily's heart filled with wonder. What would their future hold?
