Meanwhile, Taka found himself in a fierce duel with an unexpectedly skilled bandit. Initially easy to handle, the bandit's sudden prowess caught Taka off guard. Ducking a slash, Taka blocked a thrust, then leaned back from an upward strike. He countered with a slash aimed at the bandit's sternum, but it was parried. An elbow strike to Taka's face sent him stumbling back, blood trickling from his nose.

The bandit pressed the attack, but Taka narrowly avoided another slash, tasting copper in his mouth. Hearing Kenji's victory cry, "BLADE OF WILL!!," Taka knew he had to finish his battle too.

Steadying his breath, Taka focused his hashi, channeling it through his body and into his blade. This was not part of the Way of Nature technique but a move he crafted himself, one built on his strengths. Lunging forward, he unleashed a powerful downward slash.

"Way of Nature Technique: Mountain-Splitting Wave!"

The bandit blocked, swords clanging loudly. Taka spun, using the momentum for his next attack.

His upward strike sliced the bandit from stomach to chest. Blood sprayed as the bandit staggered, making a final attempt to stab Taka. With a swift parry, Taka deflected the blow. The bandit collapsed, still breathing but barely, his hashi-enhanced body keeping him alive for now.
