At the walkway outside train station's lobby...
Timothy came back from the inside with two cans of yogurt. Ann gave a tight smile, resting back on the railings.
"We new folks must have missed what an unexpired yogurt tastes like," Timothy said as he handed her a can.
Ann nodded with hesitation, a tight smile returning to her face. She opened the can and took a gulp right away. It tasted like ordinary water. Timothy was right; they truly missed it.
"Mind going for a walk, Ann?" Timothy asked in a cautious tone.
Ann chuckled. "I know where this will end, Mister Cross. Besides, you have done this hundreds of times before."
Timothy quirked a brow, moving his thumb around the can's edge. "You were counting it, right? That at least shows you care."
