Nah, this is dope. Admittedly, I half expected a dungeon style story with Hunters (before reading) but I found myself genuinely surprised by what the author is doing with the famed System and Apocalypse tropes. 

The enemies - messengers of gods - called the Agents of Fate (even though it might be a small detail) left an impression on my experience in that first chapter I read. it's not much, these days, it's rare to see enemies that don't allow you to finish your sentence in this genre - enemies that actually attract you to a story. For me, that established the tone immediately, even though I'm sure the Agents won't be the main big bads.

But beyond that, I like that even though Leon was weak, he has a lot of fight in him. I don't really like an MC who is too timid even if they aren't privileged with great strength. I also feel he's the perfect MC for this Paradox System, the biggest standout from what I've read from the novel so far (of course).

I believe the author poured a lot into the first few chapters where Leon earns the right to use the Paradox system with a match and rematch with the wolf. A resourceful MC works very well when given a system that allows him to reverse time (kinda). For now, he isn't able to make great changes with the system, but I can only imagine what kind of spectacular madness he's going ti be able to perform as he grows stronger!

I so so like how detailed it is and I like how the story flows. I like how you create the novel itself, like the construction. The way you build tension and curiosity makes it impossible to put your book down. Every chapter keeps the reader engaged, eager to know what happens next. Keep writing, my dear author.

This is a great story. The mc Leon? A lot were put in his development despite me being just 4 chapters into the story. The world feels fresh, and unique. The narration is vivid, and well structured.

Great start, the intro really got me hooked to the story and the diversion from the normal hunter to dungeon relationship,really made me more interested in the novel.

The premise is really intriguing and seems to be well-thought. And the author is able to maintain the tension throughout the chapters, along with the usual cliffhangers (hate it or love it).

The apocalyptic setting is a nice respite from the abundance of “gates” with which these types of stories are usually laden. And the golden finger seems to encourage step-by-step and reasonable progression, which I personally prefer, rather than dumping overpowered skills or items at the whim that gets old fast unless the writing is top-notch.

Although there are still only a few chapters at the time of writing this review, I’m looking forward to seeing how the story develops and what role Leon will assume in this sort of dystopian world. Good luck, author!


A unique concept. Reading this novel i never expected it to turn out this good. The MC Leon?, well i think the author has put a lot of building into his character. For now, only six chapters has been posted while I'm making this review and i can't wait for More.
