Chapter 55

"Orthrus, I will be waiting you here! Bye"

That Orthrus shake his head with "I will be back in 2 hours" and walks away.

Rain slams the door shut and turned looking at Dena who asked "can I order some food? I have been in the dungeon for a day, they serve shitty food!"

Rain shrugs "do whatever you want, I will take a shower"

"You aren't afraid I would leave?" Dena asked seeing him getting inside ignoring her

"You look like you don't want me to side with the Hellhounds!"

Dena replied with her rectangle smile "I will be here when you come out!"

Sometime passed and Rain went out from his shower wearing his full outfit "Handsome" He heard and saw Dena already eating but leaving a box for him "here, I ordered two, you should see the delivery face when he saw all the men falling men outside" she giggles alone, and Rain walks to the table sitting in front of her not touching that box of course

"So who is that Orthrus guy?" he asked wanting some informations

"Hades right hand" Dena answered while eating "he was raised by my father, now he is in charge of every men Hades has, he was trained to be so loyal to Hades like a dog, to the point he never had a friend in his life, that's how he got the nickname Orthrus"

"Right hand!" Rain repeated "so there is a left hand?"

Dena nodded "Iatros, he joined us for almost a year now and personally I met him like 4 times in total!"

"A year and he is the left hand?"

 "Yes, at first I thought it is just a plan to keep Orthrus safe, and sent that left hand to a deadly mission" she huffs "but after a month Hades asked me to made the bottom face mask for him, as Orthrus have the upper one"

Rain didn't understands it "What with Hades and the masks anyways?"

Dena shake her head "for him it's a symbol, as for me I concluded it's some kind of insecurity"

Rain did saw how that Hades was kind of strange, he shake his head asking "Why coming for the Hellhounds?"

Dena shrugs and stopped the food mid-air "I don't know, father never told me any of his plans, if not for Orthrus who keeps me included he probably won't even ask about me, and I don't want to be the reason for his plans to fail, for example 'in case you are siding with the hellhounds because of a necklace!' I am so dead!"

Rain didn't say a word but understands her feelings.

"Iatros why are you sitting in the dark?" Orthrus walks in a place like a hall, the lights were dim, but in the far end there was 3 thrones, the one in the middle was bigger than the one the Rogues had, with two small sided one.

On the one in the left Iatros was sitting but one of his legs were on that side-throne arm and his back-head was on the other arm laying down looking at the ceiling.

Orthrus went to the lights opening them to look at the one at the far wearing a black tank-top showing his build up arm muscles filled with tattoos reaching his neck, wearing a half mask at the bottom of his face linked with a chain to his left ear, yet his mouth could clearly be seen and he was no other than that Dr. Lex

"Is everything okay?" Orthrus says sitting next to him at the bigger thrown

"Maybe!"

"You look heartbroken"

"I got rejected, he chooses the girl!" he huffs "but I know I got what I deserve"

"…"

"Anyways! Are you looking for me?"

Orthrus nodded "yes, I saved Dena, but she took me to meet your old rival"

"Why taking you?" Lex says sitting properly

"She said he was searching for a red hair guy from the masquerade, and it turns out he stole something from him!"

Lex moves his hands to his neck showing the bullet necklace "this?"

"So it was you!" Orthrus smirk "red hair! Really! Did you impersonate me?"

"I just told them you are my ideal type and they believed it!"

"And Dena?"

"I told her to act like she doesn't know me!"

"And she did, she even brought me to him!"

"She knew you will act the right way! And also I didn't stole it, it's belongs to me in the first place" he says looking at the necklace

"Well, I promised him to bring it back!"

"I don't want to give it back"

"You will give it back!" Orthrus insists

"No"

 "Why would you want to keep it?"

"Because it is mine!"

"Yohan!"

"What?" Yohan frown

"It's just a necklace!"

"He got the girl why would he want the necklace?"

"Maybe he still think you are dead? I don't know! Wait what girl?" Orthrus had a brain-stop

"What dead? i was standing in front of him! Yet he says 'I don't want you, all I want NOW is Dena!' so he got the girl let me be!"

 "DENA!" Orthrus says loud "HE WANTS MY SISTER DENA!! I REFUSE!"

Yohan nodded "too late for your refusal" but then looks at the door "Hades is coming"

Orthrus heard that and stands fast sitting in the small right side throne. Both heard the door getting open and Hades came in with that wheelchair

"What are you boys talking about?" he spoke from under that mask with his machine-like voice

Yohan took off the necklace speaking while throwing it on Orthrus "I was telling Orthrus that I will resign from the hospital next week"

Orthrus grabs the necklace fast yet frown "I still refuse this plan" he says standing and walking away leaving the two looking at him.

Rain who was looking at his laptop working, didn't bother about the girl who was around, Dena felt bored after taking a shower and seeing him into his small screen focused, she start roaming in the room, till she saw a ring "this is cool" she took the ring and wear it "it fits me so well! A female size?"

Knock, Knock, Knock

She heard a knocking on the door and went fast opening it "You are here!"

Orthrus came in the room, his expression was kind of angry, not like how he was before "here!" he says throwing the necklace and Rain grabs it

"Are you okay?" Dena asked

"Let's go!" Orthrus ordered her seeing Rain opening that bullet checking what inside of it "so we are clear?"

Rain nodded after seeing the fragment still in there "yes!"

Dena walked with Orthrus to the door, but then remembered the ring "Oh wait!" she took off the ring and went to Rain putting it at the table.

Rain saw the ring and look at the two leaving, and how that Orthrus guy didn't even bother to ask for it "wait"

The two stopped turning looking back at him

"What now" Orthrus says a little bit annoyed

"Who was at the masquerade?" Rain had to ask, because the moment he met the guy it felt off, yes it was dark, but there is a different in the two aura!

Orthrus looks at Dena he was angry and maybe taking it on Rain could make him feel good "if you know all along, why acting like it was me?" he said the sentence while getting back inside, but Dena knows him well to the point she grabbed him knowing he wants a fight

"I thought it was you" Rain says making Orthrus have a back "but seeing you now, you two don't give off the same vibes" he didn't want to expose the ring

"Vibes!" Orthrus grimaced "don't worry, you don't need to catch the culprit, soon he will be there with Hades" he took Dena's hand and walk outside.

Rain didn't bother to ask more because he got the necklace, he took the ring in his hands and looks at it, maybe this is the first time he actually care to look at this ring since he had it, it was a unique one indeed, it looks expensive no doubt, with some written that he couldn't read in the inside, he grimaced putting the ring along with the bullet and wore the necklace ready to leave this unfortunate city!
