The Titan-Class Nightcreatures

(Samuel's POV)

The air changed.

The factory trembled as heavy footsteps echoed through the corridors, growing louder with each second.

These weren't the mindless Nightcreatures we had just slaughtered.

No.

These were bigger. Stronger. Smarter.

The Titan-Class Nightcreatures.

The walls shook violently, pipes bursting as three massive figures stepped into the open.

Each one stood nearly 20 feet tall, their bodies a grotesque fusion of metal, flesh, and demonic energy.

Their eyes glowed a deep crimson, filled with something different from the others—

Consciousness.

Henry whistled, spinning his sword. "Tch. They just keep getting uglier."

I smirked. "Let's see if they can handle us."

---

The Titans Attack

One of the Titans—a massive, armored brute with spiked gauntlets the size of cars—roared and charged.

The shockwave alone shattered the ground beneath it.

"I got this one." Henry smirked, gripping his sword tightly.

He blinked, appearing directly above the Titan.

"JUDGMENT'S WRATH!"

A golden slash of energy erupted from his blade, aiming for the Titan's skull.

But—

CLANG!

The Titan raised its massive gauntlet, blocking the attack with inhuman reflexes.

Henry's eyes narrowed. "Oh?"

The Titan's other arm swung at him like a battering ram.

Henry barely managed to blink away, appearing a few feet back.

He grinned. "Alright. You're a bit tougher than the rest."

---

Samuel vs. The Berserker Titan

Meanwhile, the second Titan—a **hulking monster with exposed muscle and a glowing core in its chest—**came for me.

Its footsteps alone sent tremors through the ground.

I exhaled, rolling my shoulders. "Come on, big guy."

It roared, the energy in its core surging before it fired a massive shockwave blast.

I Void Stepped, dodging at the last second, appearing at its side.

I grinned. "Too slow."

"GAUNTLETS OF ABYSS!"

I punched its ribs, sending out a massive shockwave of destruction.

CRACK!

Its entire side caved in, but instead of falling—

It regenerated instantly.

I frowned. "Tch. You're annoying."

It swung its massive clawed arm at me.

I ducked, then twisted my body—

"BREATH OF DESTRUCTION!"

A wave of black hellfire erupted from my mouth, engulfing its entire upper body.

The creature screamed, its flesh burning, melting—

But it didn't stop.

Even engulfed in flames, it charged straight at me.

I clicked my tongue. "Persistent bastard."

It threw a devastating punch, aiming to crush me.

I caught it.

BOOM!

The sheer force cratered the ground beneath us, my arms trembling slightly from the impact.

Henry chuckled from the side. "Damn, Samuel. You struggling?"

I smirked. "Not at all."

Then—

I pushed back.

With all my strength, I threw the Titan off balance, sending it crashing into the steel walls.

---

Henry vs. The Armored Titan

Henry faced off against his opponent, the Titan with spiked gauntlets.

It swung at him again, its fist moving at blinding speeds.

Henry blinked to the side, dodging effortlessly. "Not bad, but—"

The Titan changed direction mid-swing, adjusting its attack.

Henry's eyes widened slightly. "Oh? You're learning?"

The Titan's fist finally connected, sending Henry flying through a concrete pillar.

CRASH!

Henry groaned, rubbing his jaw. "Tch. That actually hurt."

He stood up, shaking off the dust.

The Titan stepped forward, raising both arms for a ground-smashing attack.

Henry grinned.

"Too slow."

"CELESTIAL BLINK – MAX SPEED!"

In an instant, Henry vanished and reappeared behind the Titan—twenty times in a single second.

Before the Titan could even react—

SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!

A barrage of golden energy slashes erupted through its back and legs, slicing through its armor and flesh.

The Titan fell to one knee, roaring in pain.

Henry smirked. "Not so tough now, huh?"

He raised his blade, golden energy surging.

"HOLY ANNIHILATION!"

A massive burst of divine flames erupted, engulfing the Titan completely.

It screamed one last time before its body disintegrated into golden ash.

Henry exhaled. "One down."

Samuel's Finishing Move

My Titan recovered, its core glowing brighter as it prepared to unleash a devastating energy blast.

I rolled my shoulders, grinning. "Alright. Let's end this."

The Titan fired.

A massive red beam of destructive energy erupted from its chest, heading straight for me.

I stood my ground.

My emerald eyes glowed.

Then—

I charged straight into it.

The beam collided with me, but my Titan Heart fully activated, absorbing and nullifying the damage instantly.

The Titan stumbled back in shock.

I smirked. "My turn."

I Void Stepped, appearing above its head.

I inhaled deeply—

"BREATH OF DESTRUCTION – MAXIMUM OUTPUT!"

A torrential explosion of black flames erupted, consuming the Titan entirely.

Its screams echoed through the battlefield as its flesh, bones, and core burned away into nothingness.

When the flames finally cleared—

Nothing remained.

I exhaled, rolling my shoulders. "And that's two."

Henry walked up beside me, resting his sword on his shoulder. "Well, that was fun."

I chuckled. "Yeah. But we're not done yet."

As if on cue, the factory doors ahead of us slowly began to open.

The final chamber awaited.

And so did Lord Arkanis.

I grinned, stepping forward. "Time to meet the bastard behind this mess."
