Silver woke up to a loud knocking on her door.
She opened her eyes and tried to adjust to the bright morning sun coming through the window.
She sat up, stretched, and yawned before standing up to open the door.
There, in front of her, stood a strange man.
She frowned. "Who are you?"
The man looked at her with disgust. "I am the butler. Butler Cole."
Silver's eyes narrowed. In the comic, Butler Cole was Cici's distant uncle. That's why he hated Silver so much.
Without thinking, Silver slapped him hard across the face.
SMACK!
Butler Cole's eyes widened in shock.
Before he could react, Silver grabbed his hair and dragged him downstairs.
---
Downstairs, everyone was already sitting at the dining table—including Cici.
Silver threw Butler Cole forward and placed her hands on her hips. "Who sent this moron to wake me up?" she asked.
Cici gave her a fake smile. "Silver, we were all waiting for you to make breakfast."
Silver blinked, then suddenly burst into laughter.
Everyone stared at her, confused.
Then—SLAP!
Silver slapped Cici so hard that she fell to the ground.
Cici gasped, holding her cheek. "Y-You hit me?!"
Ryder stood up angrily. "Silver! What the hell—"
Silver raised a finger and smirked. "Before you talk, remember how I broke your nose yesterday."
Ryder froze, remembering the pain.
Silver turned to James, Ryder's father. "Get up," she said.
James frowned. "Why?"
Silver glared at him. "Because I want to sit there."
James hesitated, but when Silver raised her hand like she was about to slap him, he quickly stood up.
Silver sat down comfortably in his chair.
She turned to Butler Cole. "Come massage my legs."
Butler Cole clenched his fists but crawled toward her.
Silver smirked. "Good. Now, I have a list of chores. And of course, you all have to pay me for my hard work."
She cleared her throat and began listing:
Mopping the house - $300,000 (Because the house is big)
Cooking - $10,000 (I don't work for free)
Washing dishes - $20,000 (I have soft hands)
Watering the garden - $50,000 (Plants need love too)
Taking out the trash - $100,000 (Trash is smelly, I need extra payment)
Cleaning Ryder's room - $500,000 (He disgusts me)
Making Cici disappear - Priceless
Talking to Ryder - $1,000,000 per minute
Listening to Cici speak - $5,000,000 per word
Attending family dinners - $10,000,000
Silver leaned back in her chair. "Any problems?"
Everyone stayed silent.
Silver stood up and stretched. "Good. Now, I'm going out with some people. I might come back tonight or tomorrow. Depends on how long the party lasts."
Ryder snapped his head toward her. "What friends?"
Silver smirked. "Before I tell you, you have to pay me."
Ryder clenched his jaw. "Why are you suddenly so obsessed with money?"
Silver crossed her arms and smiled. "Because since I can't have your love, I'll take your money."
Everyone at the table stared at her, speechless.
Silver was about to go upstairs when Ryder suddenly spoke.
"I'll pay. Just tell me where you're going."
Silver stopped and smirked. She slowly turned around and crossed her arms.
"I'm celebrating my return to the fashion world after wasting four stupid years of my life with you," she said.
She stretched her arms dramatically. "And all my male friends are celebrating me!"
Then, with a bright smile, she began naming them one by one.
"Noah Centineo, Abraham Voles, Lucas Gray, Ethan Rivera, Adrian Scott, Daniel Frost, Leo Carter, Marcus Ray, Hunter Blake, Vincent Cole, and more..."
Lily's eyes widened. She jumped to her feet. "Wait! Those are the most popular men in the fashion world!"
Cici snapped her head toward Silver. "Stop joking! You've been a housewife! How can you know all these big names?"
Silver sighed dramatically and looked at the clock.
She then turned to Ryder. "I've been talking to you for ten minutes now," she said.
Ryder frowned. "So?"
Silver smirked. "Each minute costs $1,000,000. That means you owe me $10,000,000 now."
Ryder's veins popped in anger, but he pulled out another ATM card and threw it at her.
Silver grinned, catching it easily.
"Now I have two ATM cards," she said, waving them happily.
Suddenly, a knock came at the door.
Everyone turned toward the entrance.
The butler hurried to open it.
It was Noah and Abraham.
Lily gasped dramatically and fainted.
Vicky quickly caught her before she hit the floor.
Cici's mouth opened, but no words came out.
Silver's eyes sparkled.
She flew from where she was standing straight into Noah's open arms.
She hugged him tightly, then turned and hugged Abraham too.
"Ahh! I missed you both so much!" she squealed.
Noah laughed, ruffling her hair. "Missed you too, Queen."
Abraham smiled. "Finally, you're back!"
Silver turned to them and winked. "Wait for me, guys. I'll take a bath and change first!"
She skipped happily upstairs, leaving Ryder boiling in anger.
Ryder glared at Noah and asked, "What is your relationship with Silver?"
Before Noah could answer, Abraham smirked. "I'm just happy that our Queen has finally come back to her senses."
Cici, pretending to be innocent, tilted her head. "Queen? Why are you calling her Queen?"
Noah and Abraham exchanged looks before turning back to them.
"Because Silver Moe was once the youngest and most talented fashion designer in the industry," Noah said.
Abraham nodded. "Before she met this bastard—" he pointed at Ryder, "—and decided to quit."
Lily's eyes widened in shock.
"Wait… Silver Moe is Queen SM?!" she screamed.
"SM stands for Silver Moe," Abraham confirmed.
Lily covered her mouth, feeling guilty. "We've been living with a top designer all this time… and we treated her like trash?"
Vicky scratched his head. "Damn… that's messed up."
Before anyone could say another word, Silver came downstairs.
She looked stunning in a pink crop top, ripped jeans, and white sneakers.
Her long hair was tied up in a high ponytail, and she wore light makeup, making her look even more gorgeous.
Everyone stared at her.
Silver, ignoring their reactions, ran to Noah and started acting like a child.
She pouted and tugged his sleeve. "Noah, I'm hungry!"
Noah chuckled and flicked her forehead. "You will never change, will you?"
Silver grinned. "Of course not! As long as you keep pampering me, I won't change!"
Abraham rolled his eyes. "She hasn't changed one bit."
Silver grabbed their hands and pulled them toward the door. "Let's go already!"
They all left the house together, chatting happily.
Cici, feeling jealous, crossed her arms and muttered, "Maybe Silver is cheating on Ryder—"
"Shut up!" Lily and Vicky yelled at her at the same time.
Cici flinched, looking at them with wide eyes.
Lily glared. "For once, just shut your mouth!"
Vicky scoffed. "Do you even hear yourself? Ryder cheated on Silver first, and now you're worried about her? Ridiculous."
Ryder, ignoring their argument, grabbed his car keys. "I'm going to the company," he muttered.
He stormed out of the house, his footsteps heavy with frustration.
But his face clearly showed that his mind was in chaos.
