A Week of Hesitation
Victor Stellan's offer had shaken Dylan to his core. The opportunity to go to Dubai and pursue his dream of music was a once-in-a-lifetime chance, a direct path to stardom. But one thought haunted him relentlessly: Diana.
For days, Dylan wandered around, torn between excitement and guilt. Thomas and Jasper were immediately thrilled by the idea.
— Do you realize what this means, Dylan? Thomas exclaimed, his eyes sparkling with excitement. This is our chance! We can't let it slip away!
— Yeah, man, do you know how many people would kill for an opportunity like this? Jasper added. We've worked so hard for this!
Dylan nodded, but his heart was elsewhere.
— And what about Diana? he murmured. I can't just… leave her behind.
Thomas sighed.
— I know it's tough, but what can you do? You don't have the money to pay for the rest of her treatment. Even if you stayed, you wouldn't be able to change anything.
— We'll come back for her when we're rich and famous, Jasper said confidently.
Dylan looked down. He knew they were right. But the idea of leaving without telling Diana was tearing him apart.

A Difficult Decision
The week passed slowly. Every day, Dylan visited Diana at the hospital, never once mentioning Victor Stellan's offer. He talked to her about everything else, joked with her, told her about his days as if nothing was wrong.
But deep down, every moment with her felt like torture.
One evening, as he was about to leave, Diana grabbed his hand.
— Dylan… I feel like something is bothering you.
He forced a smile.
— What? No, of course not. Why would you say that?
She narrowed her eyes, skeptical.
— I know you too well.
Dylan felt a lump form in his throat. He wanted to tell her the truth, but the words refused to come out.
— Everything's fine, Diana. Just get some rest, okay?
She stared at him for a moment before sighing.
— Alright… but promise me, no matter what happens, you won't give up on me.
Dylan felt his heart tighten. He gently squeezed her hand.
— I promise.
But deep inside, he knew he was about to break that promise.

The Imminent Departure
The day of departure was approaching, and Dylan's anxiety was growing. He spent hours in his room, staring at his phone, hesitating to send a message to Diana, to tell her everything.
But every time, he stopped himself.
— If I tell her, she'll ask me to stay.
And he knew he wouldn't be able to say no.
Finally, the night before their departure, Victor sent them their plane tickets. The flight was scheduled for early the next morning. Dylan spent the night staring at the ceiling, unable to sleep.
At dawn, he got up, grabbed his suitcase, and left the house without a sound.
At the airport, he exchanged one last glance with Thomas and Jasper.
— This is really happening… Dylan murmured.
— Yeah. And we're going to take over the world, Thomas grinned.
— Are we ready? Jasper asked.
Dylan took a deep breath.
— Yes.
But deep inside, he wasn't sure he was ready to leave Diana behind.
Without a final glance back, he stepped onto the plane.
His destiny was set in motion.
