Fu Ling decided to sit back down and get a better idea of his general situation before doing anything else.

This was normal world, not too developed and not under developed either. The main plot was a sweet campus love story between the kind, innocent and pure heroine and the somewhat crazed and arrogant hero who would move the earth and shake the heavens for her.

The hero was the typical rich second generation who hadn't been beaten by life and felt like he could cover the sky with one hand. The heroine on the other hand came from a poor family and had grown up to hate the rich. Originally these two people should have no interaction with each other but the heroine was part of a group of smart but underprivileged students who were given a chance to study at the aristocratic school under scholarship.

The heroine happened to meet the hero bullying a quiet student and she spoke up boldly, not caring about his background. She was only doing it to fight for justice. At least that's what she said.

After that, she managed to catch the hero's eye and he became interested in her. She was strong and resilient and didn't worship money. His casual interest at first became serious and he pursued her to no end.

Because of that, many of the other boys started paying attention to her and her list of suitors grew.

Most of them were only doing it because the hero had annoyed them at some point or the other and after noticing he was serious about her, they decided to make it difficult for him, so there were only a few loyal ones. One of which was the boy who had been bullied. He had a strong background but was introverted so no one knew about it however Fu Ling was more inclined to the guess that the heroine knew about his identity before hand because later when the heros family needed help with their business, the heroine immediately found and begged him even subtly suggesting she would stay with him if he did. He had no other thoughts and just wanted her to be happy so he helped her out because of their previous friendship. This offended his family greatly and he was almost kicked out. After gathering his confidence and going to claim favor from the heroine, all he got was a thank you with teary eyes but that she couldn't bare to leave the hero. He seemed to have realized that she just used him and left sadly but the hero still didn't let him go and sent someone to cause a car accident where he ended up dying. This was no kind and innocent woman.

That was something for later though as it happened in their college years. Now, they were still in highschool and even though she had the admiration of many men, the heroine could never fit in with the girls because they made it an everyday effort to exclude her. It had caused a lot of arguments between the two groups and a boy even broke up with his girlfriend because she wouldn't be friends with the heroine. Even when asked why, none of the girls said anything but never made an effort to hide their disgust of her. All they said was that they could smell the white lotus aura on her from a mile away.

Fu Ling couldn't help but admire how spot on girls intuition could be sometimes.

After being tortured in so many world by these protagonists and couldn't retaliate because of the bounds of the system, Fu Ling had developed an aversion to these sons and daughters of heaven. It would be better if they all just stayed away from each other and let him do what he came here for in peace.

But before that thought could fully form, Fu Ling paused slightly and looked down at the cast on his leg. He couldn't help but sigh deeply and lament on how the original owner's brain worked. The original owner was probably the other sincere suitor of the heroine. He was also called Fu Ling. He was a rich second generation as well but he was also the second son, unlike the hero who was the first son so he didn't have much influence in their circle and after learning of his interest in the heroine, the hero began to ostracize him. Everyone there could read the room. Compared to the original owner who was not going to have much power in the future, they all sided with the hero who would become the leader of his family in the future. This injury was gotten by competing with one of the heroine's other suitors. What he didn't know though was that person had already been bought over by the hero to play dirty on the track and his car was also tampered with. This was clearly aiming for his life.

If you say the original owner was stupid, how was he able to think quickly in that situation and minimized the consequences? But if you said he was smart, how could he not have noticed the two faced character of the heroine?

Fu Ling was getting a headache thinking about the current entanglements. The hero was obviously not a good person and he had already been targeted. He could only hope that after he stopped chasing the heroine, the hero would realize he was no longer interested and leave him alone.

After sorting all this out, Fu Ling finally got time to do what he really came here for. He searched for a long time on the internet but couldn't find any information about that person.

"System, get me a picture of all Fu Ling's classmates."

The system sent a row of pictures all with names and family backgrounds under. He looked over them one after the other and paused at one. "Gu Lian" The name rolled off his tongue effortlessly and he started fixedly at the photo. The teenager had dark hair, phoenix eyes, straight nose and sword eyebrows. He was the epitome of a campus male god. For a moment, Fu Ling couldn't help but wonder if this was the so called son of heaven but a casual scroll downwards overturned that conjecture. He found the hero. So that person could only be Chaos. Fu Ling looked at the cast on his leg and let out a small smile. For someone who had never needed to go to school before, Fu Ling couldn't help looking forward to highschool.
