The Girls' Swimming Class

"Basketball? You mean basketball?" Seeing Jaxon's stunned expression, Teacher Sun Yue chimed in.

"He could teach basketball? He's so short and scrawny. He doesn't look like someone who plays basketball," Li Bing couldn't help but belittle Jaxon. In reality, Jaxon wasn't short at all. He was originally 175 cm tall, and for some reason, perhaps due to his dimension crossing, he had grown a few centimeters and was now close to 180 cm.

"No, not basketball," Jaxon shook his head.

"I told you so. He can't teach basketball. Actually, I think he can't teach anything at all," Li Bing said triumphantly.

"So what are you teaching?" Geng Yafei asked curiously.

"Swimming," Jaxon replied.

"Swimming? That's not bad," Geng Yafei said. Teaching students to swim was different from learning from a professional. Even if Jaxon wasn't an expert, as long as he knew the basics and kept an eye on the students to prevent any accidents, it would be fine.

"It's the girls' swimming class," Jaxon said with a complicated expression. He wasn't sure whether he should be happy or upset at this moment.

"Girls' swimming class?!" Almost everyone in the office, including Li Bing, exclaimed in unison, their faces filled with disbelief and shock.

Swimming classes were different from other physical education classes. For other sports, it was fine for boys and girls to take classes together. Even Geng Yafei's aerobics class had both male and female students mixed together. However, swimming was different. The school had separate swimming pools for boys and girls, and they were used separately. When students took swimming classes, boys and girls were not together. Some other schools might have mixed-gender swimming classes, but Goldenleaf University had always kept them separate.

The girls' swimming classes had always been taught by female teachers, while the boys' classes were taught by male teachers. This arrangement was partly to avoid unnecessary trouble and suspicion, as college students were not innocent children anymore.

However, now Jaxon was saying that he was assigned to teach the girls' swimming class. No wonder Geng Yafei and the others were so surprised.

"Mr. Jaxon, did you make a mistake?" Geng Yafei couldn't help but ask. "As far as I know, Goldenleaf University has never had a male teacher teach the girls' swimming class."

"I wish I had made a mistake, but I haven't," Jaxon said with a wry smile.

Then, Jaxon handed his phone to Geng Yafei to show her the message. After reading it twice, Geng Yafei finally confirmed that Jaxon was indeed assigned to teach the girls' swimming class.

"You..." Geng Yafei looked at Jaxon, wanting to say something but not knowing what to say. In the end, she could only say, "Good luck with that."

With that, Geng Yafei was the first to leave the office. The other teachers looked at Jaxon with envy, wishing they could switch places with him and teach the girls' swimming class. Unfortunately, this was the school's arrangement, and they couldn't change it.

In the end, they all left the office one by one, filled with envy and jealousy.

"What a mess," Jaxon stood alone and laughed bitterly.

It was only now that Jaxon remembered when he first met Vice Principal Yue Linshan, Yue had casually asked him if he could swim. At that time, without thinking much, Jaxon had honestly said that he could swim and even boasted about his swimming skills to make a good impression on Yue Linshan.

If he had known it would turn out like this, he wouldn't have said he could swim. Who would have thought that Yue Linshan would assign him to teach swimming, and specifically the girls' swimming class?

To go or not to go, that was not a question!

Since he was already here and the students might be waiting by the pool, he couldn't back out at the last minute. He had no choice but to face it head-on.

"Wenting, you have such a great figure," by the poolside, Xiaoyun looked at her roommate's figure enviously.

In Lily's dormitory, Lily and Xiaoru had chosen aerobics for their physical education class, while Xiaoyun and Wang Wenting had chosen swimming.

Although Wang Wenting was not very likable in her daily speech and actions, and Xiaoyun didn't like her either, Xiaoyun had to admit that she was indeed envious of Wang Wenting's figure. In comparison, her own figure seemed a bit flat.

The compliment from her roommate made Wang Wenting's proud expression even more pronounced. She had always been confident in her appearance and figure and had been the center of attention since childhood. However, after encountering Lily in college, it seemed like she had met her match. Although she was reluctant to admit it, Lily was indeed superior to her in both figure and appearance, which made Wang Wenting very upset.

Now, the compliment from Xiaoyun helped Wang Wenting regain her usual confidence and pride.

"Some things can't be envied," Wang Wenting glanced at Xiaoyun's chest and said indifferently, "People like me are naturally the center of attention. It's useless for you to envy me. Ah, but sometimes, the attention from those men is really unbearable."

Seeing Wang Wenting's pretentious display of distress, Xiaoyun almost vomited and regretted saying that earlier. People like Wang Wenting should not be given any encouragement.

"Some things indeed can't be envied," Xiaoyun said, "Just like how Lily surpasses you in appearance, figure, and temperament. Your envy is useless."

"You..." Wang Wenting, who had been pretending to be distressed, became angry, "All of hers were shaped by men! She looks innocent, but who knows how many men she's been with behind the scenes."

"Wang Wenting, how can you slander people like that?" Xiaoyun was angry, "Lily is not that kind of person."

"You can never truly know a person. Who knows what she's really like?" Wang Wenting said, "Just like her boyfriend, we all saw him, but she still denies it. Moreover, he's from outside the school. Who knows how many such boyfriends she has outside the school that she refuses to acknowledge."

Xiaoyun was speechless for a moment, not knowing how to refute her, because she also believed that Jaxon was Lily's boyfriend.

After a while, Xiaoyun said, "Lily is just shy and doesn't want to admit it. I believe she is definitely not the kind of person who would mess around. We are all classmates and roommates. Don't slander people casually."

"I'm not slandering her," Wang Wenting narrowed her eyes and said, "I'm not even worth comparing with her."

At that moment, several girls at the entrance of the swimming hall suddenly screamed. Then, a familiar figure entered the vision of Wang Wenting and Xiaoyun.

"How could he be here?!" Wang Wenting and Xiaoyun almost spoke in unison.
