Help out?

It seems like it really is possible!

Lily thought about how Jaxon had helped her before, driving her to school, cooking for her, and most importantly, allowing her to stay at school without reporting her. Come to think of it, Jaxon was actually a pretty decent guy.

And right now, Jaxon was indeed very busy. There were lots of customers around him. Although there was already someone helping him, he still seemed overwhelmed.

However, if she really did help out, wouldn't Xiaoyun and Xiaoru think even more that she and Jaxon were a couple? Wouldn't all her previous explanations be in vain?

But it seemed like her previous explanations hadn't had any effect at all.

Just as Lily was hesitating whether to go and help, another stunning figure appeared, causing a chorus of exclamations from the people around.

"Tang Yufei is here too?!"

"I didn't expect that Teacher Jaxon would attract even Goddess Tang!"

"I heard that Tang Yufei signed up for the swimming class. Teacher Jaxon is her teacher."

"I really want to see what Goddess Tang looks like in a swimsuit. She must look amazing."

"I'd be willing to live two years less if I could be Tang Yufei's boyfriend!"

The person who caused such a sensation upon arrival was none other than Tang Yufei!

As soon as Tang Yufei arrived, she captured the attention of everyone present. Dressed in a plain white T-shirt and denim shorts, she perfectly showcased her graceful figure. Her long, fair, and delicate legs were like beacons in the night, drawing everyone's eyes.

"Teacher Jaxon, I didn't expect to find you doing business here. If I had known earlier, I would have come sooner," Tang Yufei said.

Tang Yufei spoke in a normal tone, but somehow, her normal words had a unique allure. Tang Yufei was the kind of person who didn't need to put on any airs. Every word she spoke and every move she made exuded sensuality.

"It's not too late to come now," Jaxon replied.

Jaxon was wary of this girl. She was extremely beautiful and had a rather aggressive demeanor. Sometimes, her proactiveness was even a bit overwhelming for him.

"Teacher Jaxon, you're so busy. Let me help out," Tang Yufei offered.

"Feifei, look, someone's trying to steal your chance," Xiaoyun nudged Lily's arm and whispered, "Hurry up and go over there."

"Whoever wants to go can go. I'm not going," Lily, who had been hesitating, decided against helping after seeing this situation.

There were many students from the school here. If she and Tang Yufei both tried to help Jaxon and this got spread around the campus, who knows what kind of misunderstandings others would have about her. Her roommates had misunderstood her, and her long explanations hadn't been effective at all. It would be even worse with other people.

"No, no," Jaxon quickly declined Tang Yufei's offer. "My apprentice and I can handle it."

As a teacher at Goldenleaf University, Jaxon was aware of his position, and Tang Yufei was a student. With so many students watching, any rumor could be damaging. He might be able to brush it off, but Tang Yufei was a girl, and it could harm her reputation.

"We're already so familiar, Teacher Jaxon. There's no need to be so formal," Tang Yufei said, seemingly unaware of the potential impact of her actions on herself.

"I really don't need it," Jaxon insisted, thinking to himself that he didn't recall being that familiar with her. They had only met for the first time during the swimming class today.

Afraid that Tang Yufei would insist, Jaxon quickened his movements.

Seeing this, Tang Yufei turned to the crowd and said, "Everyone, please line up and take turns. Don't tire Teacher Jaxon out."

It had to be said that Tang Yufei's words carried quite a bit of influence. Not only the students from Goldenleaf University, but also students from other schools, all went to line up after hearing her words. In the end, the only ones who remained in front of Jaxon's stall were Tang Yufei and Lily's dorm mates.

Tang Yufei looked at Lily and her friends and said, "Are you guys here for barbecue too? If so, please go to the back of the line."

"We're friends of Teacher Jaxon," Xiaoyun couldn't help but say, "This is Teacher Jaxon's girlfriend."

Seeing Jaxon's puzzled and shocked expression, Lily was mortified. She tugged at Xiaoyun and said, "What are you talking about?"

"I'm not talking nonsense. It's the truth," Xiaoyun said.

"She's talking nonsense. Don't believe her," Lily's face turned red with embarrassment, especially under Jaxon's gaze. She felt like she wanted to find a hole to crawl into.

Lily felt she couldn't stay here any longer. She grabbed Xiaoyun and Xiaoru by the arm and started to leave.

"Feifei, what's wrong? Why are you leaving?"

"Yeah, my barbecue isn't ready yet. I still want to eat Teacher Jaxon's barbecue."

"Stop talking and let's go," Lily said.

As Lily and her two friends walked further and further away, Tang Yufei looked at Jaxon with a teasing glint in her eyes and said, "A teacher-student romance, huh. Tsk, tsk. I didn't expect Teacher Jaxon to be into this kind of thing. I'm a student too. What do you think of me? How about we have a teacher-student romance as well?"

"Ahem, ahem." Jaxon coughed awkwardly, both from being startled and to ease the embarrassment. "Xiaoyun was just joking."

"Is that so?" The teasing look in Tang Yufei's eyes intensified.

"What would you like to eat, Tang?" Jaxon quickly changed the subject.

Tang Yufei knew he was trying to divert the conversation. She gave Jaxon a disdainful look, which was truly full of charm, leaving Jaxon feeling quite overwhelmed. He hadn't expected that Tang Yufei, still a student, could have such allure.

Fortunately, Tang Yufei didn't dwell on the matter for long. She ate something here and then left.

However, the sensation that Jaxon had caused continued. Especially with top beauties like Tang Yufei and Lily being drawn to his stall, the students from Goldenleaf University were extremely curious about Jaxon's barbecue stand. This kept Jaxon's business in a booming state.

It wasn't until the school's dormitory closing time approached that Jaxon's stall gradually became less crowded. However, there were still some people eating here. After all, not all college students lived on campus. Moreover, in addition to students, there were other customers on this street.

"Boss, give me ten skewers of meat, five chicken wings, ten servings of chives... and a box of beer. Got that? Hurry up for us guys."

Close to midnight, a few disreputable-looking young men arrived at Jaxon's stall. They walked with a swagger, stood with trembling legs, and chewed toothpicks while looking at people with a tilt of their heads and from the corners of their eyes. These guys were practically screaming "I'm not a good person" with their demeanor.
