Meeting a powerful existence

"What could be out there that is fucking with my mind? This fear is really irritating me." Tristan didn't like this feeling that brought about cowardice to his heart.

Truthfully, just like any youth out there in this world, Tristan was clueless about this cursed world because everything was new to him.

What Tristan needed to do right now was to find the gate of evolution and evolve before being sent to the world where he came from. He didn't care about saturating his power by leveling up to the maximum in this world, what he wanted was to go home.

Tristan knew that only those youths who had not passed through the evolution pool would be sent to weaker world's like this one where one could not find stronger beasts, the stronger corrupted ones were not interested in this weaker energy that this world had and chose to continue ravaging the more evolved beings in other advanced planets but this didn't mean that all the stronger beasts ignored this world, there were some among them which chosed to come here to see for themselves how these weak creatures(humans) test like, even if the humans in this weak world were weak creatures, these beasts could evolve slowly by slowly after feeding on their lifeforces, to them, this was much better that risking their lives on those advanced planets.

At last, Tristan got out of his car and before he even take a single step forward, he saw something in front of him that gave him the chills. His legs started to tremble and sweat encompassed his whole body. Tristan felt like he could pee on himself at any moment.

Bang!

The car door closed by itself behind him but Tristan didn't turn to look at what had made the car door to close by itself because he was too preoccupied by the being in front of him. This being was just a step away from the woman that he wanted to save. 

Tristan was all disoriented as he asked himself countless questions.

When he was insides the car, he didn't see the beast that was now in front of him but he could clearly see the beautiful woman. How did this beast appear at the place where it wasn't? Or could the beast only be seen when he got out of the car? Did the windscreen had the capability to conceal the existence of the beast? 

'No, that's not it, maybe this beast has an insane agility that could make it go so fast in that it appeared here in an instant as if it has teleported.' Tristan could only come up with this conjecture which made him to scowl even more.

Right now, Tristan was having a tough staring competition with this beast.

The beast had the head of a cow while the rest of its body almost resembled that of a human. It was just that it's body was too skinny and Tristan could clearly tell that its hide which had little muscles here and there was too stuck on its bones. One could just tell that this beast was merely bones assembled together and an animal hide woven on top of the bones.

Its skinny hands were extra long and they were almost touching its knees, at the periphery of its fingers, Tristan could see sharp overgrown claws at each finger. One should know that the beast was four metres tall and to Tristan, it was like a tall tree, this just added to its sinister and overbearingness.

"What should I do? Should I ignore it and continue with my plan as per usual?" Tristan murmured to himself thoughtfully. The beast had not moved for sometime which made Tristan to start thinking that it either didn't come here for him or it simply didn't exist at all.

'Inspect!' Tristan ordered subconsciously.
