Chapter 9: Parental Concerns
Ashaas's parents had been worried about her since the breakup with Neel. They had seen the pain and sadness in her eyes, and they had wanted to do everything they could to help her.
But as the weeks went by, Ashaas's parents started to notice a change in her. She was smiling again, laughing again, and seeming to enjoy life once more.
They were relieved to see their daughter happy again, but they couldn't shake off the feeling that something was still off. Ashaas seemed distant, preoccupied, and they worried that she was still hurting inside.
One evening, as they sat down to dinner, Ashaas's mother turned to her with a concerned expression. "Ashaas, beta, how are you really doing?" she asked.
Ashaas looked up, a hint of surprise on her face. "I'm fine, Mummy," she said. "Really, I am."
But her mother wasn't convinced. She had seen the look in Ashaas's eyes, the look that said she was still hurting.
"Ashaas, we know you're not fine," her father said, his voice gentle but firm. "We know you're still hurting from the breakup. And we're worried about you."
Ashaas sighed, feeling a pang of frustration. She knew her parents were just trying to help, but she didn't want to talk about Neel anymore. She wanted to move on, to forget about him and focus on her future.
"I'm okay, really," she said, trying to reassure them. "I just need some time to myself, that's all."
Her parents exchanged a worried glance, but they didn't push the issue. They knew that Ashaas needed space, and they were willing to give it to her.
But as they finished dinner and Ashaas went to her room, her parents couldn't shake off the feeling that something was still off. They worried that Ashaas was still hurting, that she was still struggling to come to terms with the breakup.
And they wondered what they could do to help her, to support her as she navigated this difficult time.
4Here is the continuation of the story:
Ashaas's parents decided to give her space, to let her work through her emotions on her own. They knew that she was a strong and independent person, and they trusted her to make her own decisions.
As the days went by, Ashaas started to feel more and more alone. She would spend hours in her room, staring at the wall and thinking about Neel. She would wonder what he was doing, who he was with, and if he ever thought about her.
Despite her best efforts, Ashaas couldn't shake off the feeling of sadness that had settled in her heart. She felt like a part of her had been ripped away, and she didn't know how to get it back.
One day, as she was walking through the park, Ashaas saw a couple holding hands and laughing together. She felt a pang of jealousy and sadness, and she quickly looked away.
As she continued walking, Ashaas stumbled upon a small café. She decided to go inside and get a cup of coffee, hoping that it would lift her spirits.
As she sat down at a table, Ashaas noticed a boy sitting across from her. He was staring at her with a curious expression, and Ashaas felt a sense of unease.
"Hi," the boy said, breaking the silence. "My name is Aarav. I couldn't help but notice that you look a little lost."
Ashaas smiled, feeling a sense of gratitude towards the boy. "Hi Aarav," she said. "I'm Ashaas. And yeah, I'm feeling a little lost right now."
Aarav nodded, his eyes filled with understanding. "I know how that feels," he said. "Sometimes life can be overwhelming, and it's hard to know what to do."
Ashaas felt a sense of connection to Aarav, and she found herself opening up to him. She told him about Neel, about the breakup, and about her feelings of sadness and loneliness.
Aarav listened intently, his eyes filled with compassion and understanding. When Ashaas finished talking, he reached out and took her hand.
"You're not alone, Ashaas," he said. "We all go through tough times, and it's okay to feel sad and lost. But what's important is that you don't give up. You keep moving forward, even when it feels like the whole world is against you."
Ashaas felt a sense of tears welling up in her eyes as she looked at Aarav. She felt a sense of gratitude towards him, and she knew that she would never forget his words.
As they finished their coffee and said their goodbyes, Ashaas felt a sense of hope that she hadn't felt in weeks. She knew that she still had a long way to go, but she also knew that she wasn't alone.
And as she walked home, Ashaas felt a sense of peace settle in her heart. She knew that she would always carry the scars of her breakup with Neel, but she also knew that she was strong enough to overcome them.
A New Beginning
Ashaas woke up the next morning feeling like a new person. She had talked to Aarav the day before, and his words had really resonated with her. She felt like she had finally turned a corner, like she was finally starting to heal.

She went downstairs to the kitchen, where her parents were waiting for her. They smiled at her, and Ashaas could see the concern in their eyes.
"Good morning, beta," her mother said, giving her a hug. "How are you feeling today?"
Ashaas smiled, feeling a sense of gratitude towards her parents. "I'm feeling good, Mummy," she said. "I think I'm finally starting to heal."
Her parents exchanged a look, and Ashaas could see the relief in their eyes. They had been worried about her, and they were glad to see that she was finally starting to move on.
