Elder Jion is seated on his bed with his mind filled with worry, the tribe can survive the upcoming winter but now the upcoming spring season is dangerous for the tribe with the snake tribe eyeing them.
If anything does not change, he has to break his word to his teacher. In his time, the statue tribe will be no more. Thinking of this his eyes tear up then like a bolt of light in the dark sky, he feels a vast and powerful spirit connect with his spirit. He then feels his thoughts slowly overwhelmed by the pressure of the powerful spirit.
Before he can think of a countermeasure against the powerful spirit, he stops as he hears the powerful spirit speaking- " I am your Totem. I have seen your tribe's devotion to me for centuries so I decide to give your tribe a gift which will help your tribe to cross the upcoming tribulation."
Gavin watches with his spirit field that the Elder after hearing him, knelt on the ground from his bed and bows down toward the statue. Gavin can see with his spirit field, that the elder spirit is being suppressed, If he stays connected for a long period with the elder, his mind will vanish, which means he will be brain-dead.
So, Gavin sent his thought speaking-" Do you know how to advance to the next realm, Great Shaman?"
Before He can receive the Elder's reply, Gavin notices Elder Jion's mind cannot hold on, so he breaks the connection and watches Elder Jion fall on the ground unconscious.
Gavin seeing this thinks," Fortunate, he was bowing toward me with his head already on the ground or he will receive injury. And he is already old, If he dies then the difficulty to change my situation will increase."
Gavin retracted all his spirit back inside the totem and started thinking about how he could communicate with the elder without destroying the elder's mind. If the elder was slightly stronger then maybe he can have a short conversation.
Then he thought came to his mind, he forgot to check one thing. He is sealed inside a statue, not him particularly before he came to this world, the statue was there. What is sealed inside the statue is the body of a being he occupied.
Gavin immerses his spirit inside his body, the body is in human form but the body is not human but a Bat. A Vampire Bat of the quasi-Golden Spirit Beast realm, he was able to find this from the genetic memory inside the genes of the Vampire Bat.
He also received the Inheritance of the Vampire Bat, but he does its name, why, and how it was sealed. He also notices the Nine Runes sealing him. And after he superficially read the inheritance, he found a method that could communicate with spirit.
The method's name is Blood Slave, which reminded him of another psychic method he possessed, called Mind Slave. While both methods serve a similar purpose, the techniques differ significantly. To create a Blood Slave, one must feed a drop of their blood to the target they wish to enslave.
This blood is then guided into the being's sea of consciousness, where it infects and establishes control. In contrast, Mind Slave relies purely on spiritual strength. Using immense psychic power, the master directly forms a slave rune within the target's mind, bypassing the need for physical blood.
He is sealed inside a statue, so blood slave is out of the question leaving only the ' Mind Slave' method. But his Mind Slave method low level he learned when he became a first-rank psychic to recruit some loyal man to do his bidding. When his strength increased, he did need to recruit men, they came to work for him.
He also did not learn the advanced' Mind Slave' method because when he creates slaves with the mind slave method, the target mind is destroyed into fragments and the method pieces them together to create a low-level mechanical mind.
The slave becomes a robot devoid of self-awareness, capable of performing only simple tasks. Due to this limitation, he stopped using the method and never pursued learning any advanced techniques.
However, the two methods share a crucial similarity that is useful to him now: commanding the slaves does not require spoken words; orders can be given directly through thoughts.
He has to separate the runes that do the communication from the ' blood slave' method and apply them to the target using the method from ' mind slave'. Gavin then accepts the blood slave method to quickly master the method, he activates the quantum calculation, and after a second pass, he is unconscious.

At the crack of dawn, Via wakes up and wakes out of her house. She went to the lake to freshen herself up and ready for her duties. Before she enters the tribe, she checks on the blood tree orchards after checking each tree, She returns inside the tribe.
She finds inside the tribe activity started, she nods and greets her fellow tribesmen along the way to the kitchen. As She sits and starts eating food that is served to her, she watches to her left many tribe members are practicing so, they can awaken their blood. In their tribe only three people had awakened their blood, the previous hunting chief Ajis, Sorn, and Al.
But only Ajis and Al possess combat effectiveness. Sorn, being old, has seen his strength decline over time. Ajis, too, has only a few years left before he can no longer maintain his current level of power. She finds Vak among them, diligently practicing. Vak would have awakened his blood around the same time as Al, but he was injured during a hunt while Al was visiting the new market established by the Silver Sword Clan.
She also wished to visit the new market herself and observe the Silver Sword Clan. From Al, she learns that the Silver Sword Clan is entirely different from their people. Their entire bodies are silver in color, they lack the third eye that her kind possesses, as well as the snake-like scales on their backs. Moreover, they are born with an innate knowledge of swordsmanship, setting them apart as natural warriors.
As she stands up from finishing her food, a fellow tribe woman walks up to her, and greets" Good morning, Via."
Via also greeted her back," Good morning Pree, and your food was delicious as always." Pree is in charge of the food of the tribe, She and her team are the first to wake up in the tribe. She hears in some larger tribes, tribe members prepare their food but they are a small tribe with only 103 people, so everybody eats the food prepared by Pree.
Pree smiles and replies, "Thank you," then continues, "Via, can you call Elder to have his breakfast?"
Via, bewildered by the request, hesitates for a moment. Elder usually wakes up shortly after Pree and her team and is always the first to eat the food prepared in the morning. She speaks with confusion, "Isn't Elder always the first to eat the food prepared in the morning?"
Pree's expression turns to one of worry as she responds, "I know. That's exactly why I asked you to call Elder."
Without another word, Via quickly turns and starts walking toward Elder's home, located to the left of the statue. As she moves, she hears Pree murmuring, "What will we do if something happens to Elder?"
The words echo in Via's mind, stirring the same unease within her. However, she reassures herself that Elder cannot die suddenly. Like her, Elder has awakened their spirit and can sense when their time of natural death is near. Yet, Elder had not mentioned anything to her, leaving a lingering sense of doubt and concern.
She knocks on the Elder's door, worry etched on her face, but there is no response as if no one is inside. Hesitating for only a moment, she pushes the door open and finds Elder lying face-first on the floor. Alarmed, she quickly walks toward him, kneels, and checks to see if anything is wrong.
She discovers that Elder has simply fallen asleep on the ground. Before she can wake him, a voice calls out to her. Turning around, she sees several tribe members gathered at the doorway, concern evident on their faces. Among them is Sorn, who asks, "Via, is something wrong with Jion?"
Via replies to reassure them, "No, it seems Elder has just fallen asleep on the floor." She then begins to gently shake Elder to wake him. The gathered tribe members do not leave, remaining at the doorway, their expressions filled with worry.
Via's shaking wakes the Elder, and as he opens his eyes, he sees her concerned expression. "Via, why are you hovering over me?" he asks, his voice groggy. He glances around and notices he's lying on the floor. "Why am I on the floor?" he mutters, his memory suddenly flooding back to him.
Abruptly, he pushes Via back, stands quickly, and exits his home without a word. Via and the gathered tribe members call out to him, but he doesn't respond. Instead, he stops in front of the totem's statue, bows deeply, and begins to pray to the totem. When no response comes, he activates his spirit vision, but the totem appears the same as always.
He murmurs to himself, "Was last night just my imagination?" Yet the thought troubles him. If it had been mere imagination, why had he woken up lying on the floor, and why had he slept so late?
Sorn, hearing his friend's murmuring, steps forward with concern. "Jion, what happened last night? And why are you calling upon the totem?"
Via and the other gathered tribe members also look at him anxiously, awaiting an explanation.
Elder looks at each one faces and then proceed to explain why he was acting like this.
Via after listening to the elder's explanation holding on to the elder's forearm, speaks in excitement, " Are you speaking the truth, Elder."
When this is happening, Gavin also regains consciousness, the first thing he receives is the memory of the blood slave method. He mastered the method it is easy to find the rune for communication. He also finds the shape of the runes of this world is vastly different than his previous world.
With his vast knowledge, creating a method to communicate with the Elder is a simple task. Gavin opens his spirit field, searching for the Elder's presence, and finds him standing in front of his statue, surrounded by nearly all the tribe members who are praying to him.
Gavin establishes a connection with the Elder's spirit once again. As he begins communicating with the Elder, he carefully engraves three interconnected runes onto the barrier of the Elder's sea of consciousness. He deliberately avoids engraving them inside the sea of consciousness to prevent causing any harm or instability to the Elder's mind.
The newly formed rune enables seamless communication with the Elder. Satisfied, Gavin disconnects his spirit from the Elder and sends him a message: 'Do you know how to advance to the Great Shaman realm? If you do, tell me.'
When Gavin reconnected with the Elder's spirit, he found him deep in prayer to the totem. As the Elder prayed, he felt the vast presence of the totem's spirit once more and watched in awe as a rune formed on the barrier of his sea of consciousness. When the Elder received the totem's command, a knowing smile appeared on his face as he deduced the reason behind the totem's instructions.
Without hesitation, he conveyed all the knowledge he had gathered—from the deceased Elder, from other tribal elders, and shamans of neighboring tribes. When he opened his eyes, he noticed all the tribe members staring at him, their gazes filled with curiosity at his unusual behavior. Smiling warmly, he announced, "Our totem has awakened."
As the words left his lips, he felt an immense weight lift from his shoulders. The burden of concern for the snake tribe vanished, replaced by a profound sense of relief. A single tear escaped his eye—he realized he would not have to break the promise he had made to his father.
