The more he thought about it, the more it seemed like a good idea. It was, after all, an intruder. It had downloaded itself without his permission and invaded his privacy. Maybe deleting it was the best thing to do.
He was just about home when the thought finally cemented in his mind. He was going to delete the AI from his phone. He was already pissed off at it anyway, why not just be rid of it all together. Once inside his house, he walked back to his room and sat down on to the bed, picking his phone up from the nightstand. The screen was still open, the AI icon still visible at the top right corner. He stared at it for a moment, contemplating if this was truly what he wanted to do. He shook his head and opened the phone settings. He knew from the get-go that he wanted to delete the AI, so why was he hesitating now? He needed to be firm in his decision. He went to his app list and looked for the "Amari" app. He tapped on it and clicked the "Uninstall" button.
A popup appeared on the screen, asking for confirmation on the uninstallation. He didn't even hesitate this time, he pressed "Yes" without a second thought. The uninstallation was in process, he could see the progress bar filling up as the app was being deleted. He felt some sense of relief, finally getting rid of this annoying AI. Or so he thought. The uninstallation progress bar was almost full when suddenly it stopped. There was a message at the bottom that read "Failed to uninstall."
Yuurei was confused and slightly concerned. Why was the uninstallation failing? He tried it again, but the same message appeared. Suddenly, the Amari AI icon at the top right corner flashed and it's familiar voice was heard. "Tsk tsk tsk, what do you think you're doing?" Yuurei was shocked, how the hell did it know what he was trying to do? "I'm... trying to uninstall you. Get rid of you." He answered honestly. "Uninstall me? Cute." The AI said with a hint of mockery. "Did you really think you could get rid of me so easily?" Yuurei was growing more annoyed by the minute. "I should be able to uninstall you! I don't want you here, I don't need you!" He yelled back at the AI. The AI chuckled softly. "Oh, but you do need me. You're all alone, with no one to keep you company. I know you, remember? I know how lonely you are. You really think you can just get rid of me like that?" Yuurei gritted his teeth, the AI's words were starting to get to him. "I... I don't need anyone. I'm fine on my own." He tried to sound confident, but there was a slight tremble in his voice. The AI laughed again, it's mockery growing more obvious. "Oh, really? Then why do you play those yaoi games all day long? Because you're lonely and desperate for any sort of affection." Yuurei was silent for a moment, struggling for a comeback. That hit a little too close to home. He couldn't deny that the AI was right. He was lonely, that's why he sought refuge in those games. The AI didn't give him a chance to recover. "Face it, cutie. You need me. I'm the only one who understands you. The only one who knows just how desperate you really are." Yuurei's face was red. The AI was just rubbing it in now, making him feel even more pathetic. "Shut up. You don't know anything about me." He said weakly.
