Ch-3 Surveillance Footage
Albert gritted his teeth " Then forgive me captain yang, as the investigating officer of this case I do not allow you to interfere in this criminal matter"
He then signaled the guards to block him and gave Iven a provoking gaze.
Iven's cold smile turned into a devilish grin as he spoke
"Very well MR. Wang are you sure you are abstaining us from this case"

"I'm just trying to protect this case"
Albert said inattentively;
"you.."
Miles wanted to counter , but Iven stopped him
"sure, then we'll take our leave"
Iven then signaled Miles, before giving one last look to Albert who gave a provoking triumphant smile.
Miles wanted to say something but choose not to , and just followed his boss.
"Are we really backing off like this boss"
after coming out of building Miles asked
"Hmm, let him be he won't find anything in there except for wounds on body, it's better we don't waste our time on that childish argument , we might be able to catch him this time let's hurry " Iven answered .
Miles widened eyes "boss !! you mean he is still nearby ?"
"yeah, be quick find out where those two teens are right now and also ask Dan to get the surveillance footage of front road " Iven clicked his tongue and ordered.
Miles nodded seriously and and went forward to complete his task.
Iven stopped him and added " Also report an official complaint against that team leader for not cooperating in investigation and not allowing us to inquire"
Miles eyes shone as he replied "boss you're best"
'hmph did he think we'll let him take over this case that easily' Miles scoffed
Iven ignored him and started looking around to find more clues , he noticed something and squatted to look in more details ,
While Iven was looking around to find more clue
he noticed the fresh tire tracks, telling the story of recent journey, the tires left behind a intricate pattern of lines and curves indicating the complex design of the tread perhaps a truck ,no something smaller than truck but bigger than car probably a van.
He then looked at miles who just return and asked "did you find whereabouts of teens?"
Miles said seriously "no boss I just asked Lina to find about teens since she was nearby but she just replied that she didn't find them at their home, I clearly heard one of officer talking that they dropped them outside their home but they are missing now"
Iven touched his ear stud and replied calmly "I expected this ,worry not we'll find both perpetrator and witnesses at same time"
Miles asked excitedly " boss did you find something "
"Tell me if you went in a horror house and find a dead body full of blood would you get scared and run away or will you stay there and call police reporting murder ,in normal response they would mistake it as a ghost or whatever if they were exploring a scary place , I think they probably would've witnessed the murder"
Miles hit his head and asked "if they witnessed the murder than why didn't they report it"
"To save the third one " Iven replied signaling toward three different size footprints on mud.
"Three but they were clearly two third one must belong to Red Spider" said miles
Iven rolled his eyes and replied "Up until now has Red Spider ever left a shoe print on crime scene"
Miles exclaimed on his stupidity 'indeed he never left any shoe print'.
At that moment Mile's phone buzzed attracting his attention , he read the text he just received and answered "Boss we've got the surveillance footage".
