Sonica seals off the room and chains merlina down, merlina fell to her knees as the trio looks at her with contempt.

Augus: How long have you been contacting them?

Merlina: I broke it off 2 weeks after the day I told her.

Garith: Why?

Merlina: They said they will give me power in exchange of grandfather's knowledge, i spat on their faces and removed the contract.

Sonica: She isn't lying. *Brings out a small pendant like item from her sleeve* Should I remove them?

The other nods and Sonica removes the chains, merlina stands up and the group again sits in their seats.

Garith: So they do exist. *Arms crossed* This is troublesome.*turns to augus and tails°* Let's believe what you told us... I am still forced to fight him due to my vow.

Tails°: We can't do anything about that but is the battle necessary to be a deathbattle?

Garith: I... I don't think so.

Augus: Then you can just have a sparing duel with Sonic and support his ascension to the king.

Garith: He would have to defeat me and the others first. There are currently 5 of us in kingdom,me, percieval,gawain,Lancelot and galahad. Galahad barely leaves the castle, percieval is in the south near the volcanic plateau, gawain left to hunt someone on king's order and Lancelot is supposed to be busy against a dragon in west.

Sonica: Then this is perfect for Knight duels and gain their support.

Garith: Wait let me ask, *points at Sonica* he isn't related to her by chance is he?

Garith: i was almost scared he will be a brother or something of hers, I won't support someone with her brain as a king.

Garith: Let's end this useless talk for now, we need to talk about which knight to convince next.

Somewhere in the grassy plains. Arthur slides along the ground, the ground piling up against his feet as he drifts away from a impact.

Arthur: No wonder you were chosen, those hits were good... But that's about all.

Arthur lunges and glides parallel to the ground before swinging his broadsword at Sonic, who sidesteps and parries with a stable. Arthur twists his arm and pulls back the broadsword, forcing Sonic to abandon the stab and jump instead. Arthur slams his feet on the ground and sidesteps to reveal the Phantom horse coming through a portal. The horse slams in Sonic,sending him flying before Sonic flips and lands on his feet.

Sonic: That horse is annoying. Warps

Sonic warps right in front of the horse and cuts away it's forelegs, it retreats into the void to recover. Arthur comes swinging his blade in a full arc from the side.

Sonic: 'Oberon'

Oberon materialized and swapped places with caliburn°. Sonic blocks with a slash causing the ground beneath to cave in.

Sonic: Did you think it will be that easy? Think again.

Sonic cuts Arthur into two uneven parts with upward cleave with caliburn. The next second , Arthur rewinds time and appears in front of Sonic again and slams his fist into him while grabbing his sword. Sonic spins and uses Arthur's fist as foothold to jump away from a slash before warping behind him and impaling his heart with caliburn. Arthur rewinds time again and appears somewhere away, standing as he stares menacingly at Sonic.

Sonic: We have to get serious, if we want to end this.

Caliburn: ' I agree'

Oberon: 'Sure'

Sonic unleashed second stage of both Oberon and caliburn, caliburn turns into excalibur while Oberon largens in size.

Arthur: It is only right i honor your effort.

Visible Dark energy begins surging out of arthur's body and begins corrupting the surrounding.

Arthur blurs and appears in front of Sonic,the sword in full swing. Sonic twists excalibur's hilt and parries the attack to the side and slams Oberon on Arthur's arms. The arms severs and falls before the dark energy like a glue brought it back as if nothing happened.

Sonic: Light speed.

Just as arthur prepared to attack, Sonic pierced his torso with Excalibur before kicking him with full force. Arthur flies and crashes somewhere in the distance but stands up, the wound is not closing instantly and regeneration of the area has been greatly slowed.

Excalibur: WATCH OUT.

Sonic hears excalibur's warning but doesn't understand what it is warning against, he sees Arthur grab the scabbard and raise it above himself, he warps away and watches as the place surrounding arthur was completely caved in by a invisible force.

Oberon: That scabbard can stockpile one-fifth of the damage the wielder takes and release at will. Annoying as hell.

Sonic: *sarcasm* Great, another thing to worry about.

Sonic charges at light speed and attack with Oberon, arthur swings back with his sword and scabbard. After a series of barrages, arthur again raises the scabbard.

Sonic: TIME STOP.

Using the time stop ability, Sonic instantly impales the wound on Arthur's chest with Oberon and absorbed the dark energy.He lets go of Excalibur and clutches Oberon with both hands.

Sonic: erupt.

All the devoured energy turns to raw,untamed strength temporarily. Sonic Rips Arthur and the ground to bit before warping away.

Sonic watches Arthur is barely able to rewind, wound on his chest gone.

Caliburn°: 'it should have been the last rewind, Attack now.'

Sonic warps behind Arthur and cleanly severs his head with Oberon before piercing through the headless body with Oberon, excalibur comes flying from the side and the dark energy weakens under its radiance.

Arthur: You win... But I will comeback.

Sonic: And I will be waiting to kill you again.

Sonic slowly backs away and watches as Arthur fades away as dust. He call back the duo to the necklace before grabbing caliburn° and begins running towards the capital.
