chapter 9, Shane friend lll

By the way, Robi said something earlier. Based on what he said, there's someone I like, but he's associated with darkness? Don't tell me he was talking about Samuel?

"It can't be true, but why do I feel like it might be?"

SAMUEL POV:

While waiting for the water to boil, Robi, one of Shane's friends, approached me.

"You!" Robi asked.

I smiled innocently, "What do you need? Do you want to change your drink?"

At my question, he hesitated for a moment and then spoke. "Tell me, where did you come from?" he asked with a serious face.

"Where? From my mom?" I replied, still maintaining my innocent facade.

Robi walked over to the stove where I was boiling the water and turned off the burner. It was already boiling. He looked at me with a menacing gaze and said, "Stop pretending. Tell me where you came from and what are your intentions with the princess of light?"

'Princess of light? Could he be talking about Shane? But what kind of attitude is this?' Because I didn't like Robi's attitude, I returned a menacing look, a look that released a black aura.

As I released the black aura, I said, "What do you think?"

With that, I amplified my aura to show him my strength.

When Robi felt it, he took a step back, and his nose started bleeding.

Shane, who hadn't yet been able to open her spirit world, couldn't feel it.

However, Jasmine could feel it. She looked towards our direction because she sensed my aura.

As Jasmine turned, so did Shane, so I retracted my power.

"That's enough for now. I'll stop," I said as my aura slowly faded, but my eyes remained fixed on Robi's face. I also saw him wiping his bleeding nose with his elbow.

I approached Robi and took the tea kettle. As I took the kettle and was about to head towards the table where the glass was, I whispered to Robi, "For now, I'll overlook your rudeness because you're Shane's friend. But if it happens again, think about what I'm capable of." After saying that, I went to the table and began pouring the hot water into the glass.

"Can I ask a question?" Robi asked me in a soft voice from behind. I could still hear him, so I answered his question.

"Go ahead," I replied as I added sugar to the glass.

"U-m... where's the juice?" he asked softly. I wasn't surprised by his question.

However, when I turned around, I saw Robi blushing, and his two hands were between his thighs.

'Shit? Is he gay?' I asked myself, my face full of shock. I never thought that the former strongest person in the world would be like this.

That's right. Robi was one of the strongest people in the world. In a month, something will happen that will change him and bring him to the top.

In his success, he's called the Immortal Warrior.

We have similarities, but he doesn't die, unlike me who died from a simple stab in the forehead. Sigh, embarrassing.

No matter what injuries his body or mind sustains, nothing can affect him.

But one day, Robi disappeared like a bubble, along with Shane. He was always with Shane, besides me, in my past life, and many people admired him.

But what's with this appearance in front of me? Is this still the Robi I know? Or did his appearance change because of my return to the past?

Stunned by Robi's appearance, I calmed down and pointed to the refrigerator.

"Are you referring to the refrigerator?" Robi asked, looking like a fool. Can you just go to the refrigerator and leave me alone? I can't stand to look at your face anymore. Damn you, Robi.

"Oh, okay, sure." With a happy response, he rushed towards the refrigerator and grabbed some orange juice.

I then went to where Shane and Jasmine were.

As I approached them, I handed Jasmine the coffee. I saw shock and fear on her face. But she still tried to take the coffee I made for her. As she was about to take it, I asked in a serious tone, "How long do you plan to hide the truth from Shane?"

When Jasmine heard this, she stopped and trembled. Not because of my question, but because of the aura I was emitting and my sharp gaze.

Shane, who saw this, asked with a confused face. You could also see concern on her face. "S-Samuel, what are you saying?"

At her question, I sat down properly and crossed my arms. "Shane, why don't you ask Jasmine and Robi?" I saw Shane surprised by my question and looked at Jasmine. I also added, "I know you don't want to always intrude on other people's lives, and you don't want to cause trouble in other people's lives. But do you think they plan to hide the truth forever?"

When Shane heard this, she stood up with anger on her face. She also said, "Samuel! Why are you talking like that? Just tell me if you're angry, if you're angry because I asked you to-"

Before Shane could finish speaking, I spoke. "I'm not angry at you, and I won't be angry at you. I just want you to know that your two friends are hiding something from you. Haven't you noticed when you're with them?"

"..." Shane didn't answer and just looked at Jasmine. Robi, who saw this, just stood beside Jasmine.

In the brief silence, Jasmine spoke. "I'm sorry, Shane, if we've hidden this from you. But we'll tell you when you're able to open your spirit world." Shane still looked at Jasmine and didn't answer.

Jasmine continued speaking. "The truth is, we can't tell you everything because we might be in danger. But we'll tell you what Robi and I are."

JASMINE POV:

I'm happy I was able to go to Shane's house, but we didn't expect her brother, Samuel, to be here. Haha, I didn't expect her rival for baby girl to be handsome.

But looking at the two of them, are they really just siblings? The way Samuel accompanied Shane to the couch, I can tell that he sees Shane as more than just a sister. And there's even holding hands.

Are you showing me the gap between us, Samuel? Sigh, I'll let it slide this time since you're handsome and not as grumpy as we thought earlier.

Shane told us something different about Samuel earlier. But there's no reason for baby girl to lie, so I asked her.

When I asked her, I didn't expect that even she didn't know why. She also said that it felt like Samuel wasn't the person we were facing now, but she felt like it was still him. The way she spoke, I can tell that what she said was true. I also saw on her face that she liked whoever Samuel is right now, but why doesn't she want to admit it when it's so obvious? Come on, baby girl, you're so dense.

Sigh, baby girl, I thought you were strong in everything, but you can't even face Samuel. Sigh, you're so dense.

While Shane and I were talking, Robi went to Samuel. We didn't know what they were talking about, but Robi and I knew what they would be talking about.

As I felt the two of them talking, I felt a powerful aura.

It wasn't the strongest aura I've felt. But it was the first time I felt pure darkness in my entire life.

'Robi? When did you get this kind of power?' I asked myself, fear on my face.

Shane, who saw this, asked with concern on her face. "What's wrong, Jasmine?" Shane asked, holding my hand.

"I-it's nothing. My stomach just hurts." I replied to hide my feelings. Even though Shane is the strongest in our school and can fight people who have already opened their spirit world, it's still understandable that she can't feel such heavy power.

"Wait, I'll just get some medicine." As Shane was about to stand up, I looked back again because the aura seemed to double in strength.

But I thought it was Robi who was releasing the powerful aura, but I was wrong. I saw Robi wiping his nosebleed while Samuel was looking at him and releasing a powerful aura. It crossed my mind that if I were in Robi's situation, I would have passed out long ago.

Samuel looked in our direction. I noticed Shane looking at Samuel but didn't know what happened.

Samuel, who saw Shane looking, slowly retracted his dark aura.

Robi and I both breathed a sigh of relief when Samuel's power disappeared. But who is Samuel really? What's his connection to darkness? Why is he with the princess?

These questions entered my mind, but I couldn't feel the feeling of our enemy.

While I was confused and scared, Samuel approached us and handed me the coffee. I also saw Robi happy. I understand his feelings because he found what he was looking for.

As Samuel handed me the coffee, fear appeared on my face. He also said, "How long do you plan to hide the truth from Shane?"

When I heard this, I stopped and trembled, not because of his question, but because of the aura he was emitting and his sharp gaze.

Surprised by Samuel's question, Shane spoke with confusion. "S-Samuel, what are you saying?"

At her question, Samuel sat down, crossed his arms. "Shane, why don't you ask Jasmine and Robi?" Shane was surprised by Samuel's question.

I didn't understand Samuel's question at first because of the fear I felt. But after thinking properly, 'How did he know what we were hiding? Who is he really? Damn, how are we going to explain this to Shane?'

While I was confused about who Samuel really is, he started speaking again.

"I know you don't want to always intrude on other people's lives, and you don't want to cause trouble in other people's lives. But do you think they plan to hide the truth forever?"

When I heard this, I stopped for a moment and looked at the floor.

Shane, who was beside me, stood up and spoke with a bit of anger. "Samuel! Why are you talking like that? Just tell me if you're angry, if you're angry because I asked you to-"

Before Shane could finish speaking, Samuel spoke. "I'm not angry at you, and I won't be angry at you. I just want you to know that your two friends are hiding something from you. Haven't you noticed when you're with them?"

"..." Shane didn't answer and just looked at me.

Robi, who saw this, just stood beside me.

In the brief silence, I tried to explain. "I'm sorry, Shane, if we've hidden this from you. But we'll tell you when you're able to open your spirit world." Just like before, Shane still looked at me.

I continued speaking. "The truth is, we can't tell you everything because we might be in danger. But we'll tell you what Robi and I are."

"Robi and I are twins, and-"
