"It turns out your glasses can explode?" King Kai squinted at the broken remains of the combat power detector, looking genuinely curious. "That thing looks just like the scouters Frieza's men use."
"It was just some old equipment from Frieza's Legion. I picked it up," Renkai said casually, tossing aside the broken pieces.
"Hahaha!" King Kai burst into laughter, doubling over as if Renkai had just told the greatest joke of all time.
But when he finally caught his breath, his face turned serious. "Renkai, I can feel it… you've gotten stronger again. Several times stronger than when you first arrived. You really are something else!"
Despite his usual easygoing nature, King Kai was genuinely impressed. "Even though you have these crazy ways of getting stronger, I still think you should train properly. My Kaio-Ken and Spirit Bomb techniques are no joke. I'd be happy to teach you, especially since we get along so well!"
"King Kai, I appreciate the offer. Really, I do," Renkai said, smiling. "But it's not that I don't want to learn your techniques… it's that I already have them."
King Kai's eyes widened in disbelief. "You already—?"
Before he could finish, Renkai activated 20x Kaio-Ken. A blood-red aura exploded around his body. The sheer force of it shook the ground beneath them.
Renkai: Combat Power – 3,750
(Humanoid Dragon Form: 37,500)
(20x Kaio-Ken: 750,000)
"Unbelievable! You actually learned my Kaio-Ken!!" King Kai was completely stunned. He could feel it—Renkai's power had now surpassed even the mighty Frieza, the tyrant who ruled the universe.
Of course, that was only Frieza's base form. If Frieza went all out, Renkai still wouldn't stand a chance.
Unless… Renkai simply found someone willing to trade their life to make a wish—"One for one. Frieza dies." That would be the end of him.
King Kai was about to say something, but then he noticed something even more shocking. Even though Renkai was using 20x Kaio-Ken, he looked completely calm—as if his body wasn't feeling any strain at all!
Of course, King Kai had no idea that Renkai's humanoid dragon form was immune to negative buffs. That meant he could hold Kaio-Ken indefinitely.
It didn't take long before the 12-hour cooldown passed. And just like that, with a single wish, Renkai vanished from King Kai's planet.
His next destination?
Planet Namek.
The skies were green, and the land was covered in strange, dense vegetation. Towering mushroom-like trees dotted the landscape, and patches of blue water reflected the eerie glow of Namek's three suns.
This was the birthplace of Kami and Piccolo Daimao—a planet far larger than Earth and home to an entire race of peaceful Namekians.
At the heart of a small village, an ancient elder sat in deep meditation. Guru—the oldest and wisest Namekian—had long foreseen this moment. He opened his eyes slowly, sensing the unbelievable power approaching.
A flash of cyan energy erupted in front of him, and in the next instant, a towering humanoid dragon stood before him, radiating a blood-red aura.
Standing beside Guru, a battle-ready Namekian warrior immediately sprang into action. Nail.
As the strongest fighter on Namek, his duty was clear—protect Guru at all costs. With zero hesitation, Nail launched himself forward, ready to fight!
"Nail, stop! He is not our enemy!" Guru's voice rang out, but it was too late.
Renkai had no idea what was happening. One moment, he had just arrived. The next, some green-skinned warrior was attacking him.
Instinct kicked in. BAM! One casual punch sent Nail flying straight into a stone wall. Crack! The entire wall shattered, leaving Nail embedded into the rubble.
A large mouthful of green blood spilled from his lips. His body trembled, barely holding on. He was completely beaten—helpless before the sheer power of Renkai's attack.
Renkai blinked. "Ah… crap. Sorry about that."
Guru sighed deeply. "Do not apologize. This was Nail's mistake, not yours."
Despite his ancient and frail appearance, Guru was no fool. He had immediately sensed Renkai's overwhelming power. There was no possible way for Nail to win.
Even if he hadn't attacked first, Renkai could have crushed him instantly.
Guru turned toward his wounded warrior. "Nail, do you still live?"
Nail gritted his teeth, trying to move. His body screamed in pain.
Before Guru could summon a Namekian healer, Renkai casually pulled out a jar from thin air.
"Here, take this," he said, popping a small bean into Nail's mouth.
In an instant, Nail's body regenerated completely. His strength returned. His wounds vanished. His breath steadied. It was as if he had never been injured at all.
Nail stared in shock. "What… what was that?"
"Just a Senzu Bean. Don't worry about it," Renkai replied.
Guru, watching the whole scene unfold, smiled. He liked this young dragon.
"So tell me, Renkai… what brings you to Namek?"
Renkai crossed his arms. "Simple. I came to grant a wish—for you, Nail, and the little one over there."
Guru's eyes narrowed. "You… are a dragon?"
"Yep."
Guru and Nail exchanged glances. The resemblance to Porunga was there, but something still felt… off.
But before they could question further, another 12 hours passed.
"Nail," Guru said softly, "I know what I must wish for."
"Renkai, please… restore my youth."
Renkai smirked. "That's easy."
A snap of his fingers, and in an instant, Guru's body transformed. The wrinkles vanished. His once frail, bloated body was now strong and muscular. His energy surged, and for the first time in centuries, he felt truly alive.
