Gaining the Super Power to Turn People into Carrots

"Don't run away if you have the guts! Our boss will be here soon!"

A soldier with a bruised nose and swollen face shouted defiantly. Despite their injuries, the Rabbit Gang members still dared to be arrogant.

"How dare you still be so cocky?"

Torudo wasn't having it. He stepped forward and delivered a kick, sending the soldier crashing to the ground, crying out in pain.

Within minutes, a rabbit-shaped car rolled into town. The residents had already hidden inside their homes, leaving the streets eerily empty. From the car stepped a rabbit wearing sunglasses, dressed like a gang boss, exuding confidence.

"Our boss is here! You're done for!"

"Boss, these outsiders resisted us and beat us up! You have to avenge us!"

Renkai watched the rabbit with curiosity, intrigued by his presence.

"Beep!"

"Hmm?"

Renkai suddenly noticed something strange. Among the scattered combat power readings, one stood out—a power level of 2. On Earth, combat power 4 or 5 was common among ordinary people, but 2 was exceptionally weak. It was unusual enough to catch his attention.

"So, you finally showed up, Chowder."

A smirk formed on Renkai's face as he turned toward the location of the strange reading.

"Brother, I remember now! That rabbit—I've heard people say—has the ability to turn people into carrots! Don't let him touch you!"

Torudo's face turned serious as he quickly warned Renkai. He had heard rumors about the rabbit's strange power before, and it wasn't something to take lightly.

"I see."

Renkai nodded, acknowledging the warning but showing no concern.

"Oh, I'm terribly sorry! My subordinates were ignorant and offended you. Which one of you is the leader?"

The rabbit approached with a fake, apologetic smile. His tone was polite, but there was something unsettling about his demeanor.

"I am."

Renkai stepped forward, watching the rabbit as if he were a toy to be played with.

"On behalf of my men, I sincerely apologize! Please forgive us!"

The rabbit bowed deeply and stretched out his hand for a handshake. His expression remained friendly, but his intentions were clear.

"Brother, don't fall for it!"

Torudo shouted in alarm, but it was too late—Renkai had already grasped the rabbit's hand.

Torudo's face turned pale as panic set in.

The rabbit's smile twisted into a sinister grin. His act of friendliness disappeared, revealing his true colors.

"Boy, you dared to mess with the Rabbit Gang?! You're finished! I'll turn you into a carrot and eat you!"

He sneered, confident in his power.

"Turn me into a carrot? With just you?"

Renkai scoffed, unfazed by the threat.

The rabbit's smug expression wavered. His confidence quickly turned into fear.

"Why… why haven't you turned into a carrot?!"

The rabbit's voice trembled as he realized something was wrong.

"Because you're weak."

Renkai mocked him with a smirk.

In this world, superpowers and magic weren't absolute. They didn't work on opponents far stronger than the user. General Blue's psychic abilities failed against Torudo. Chiaotzu's psychic attacks became useless as the story progressed.

With only 5 combat power, this rabbit thought he could transform Renkai, who had over 40,000 in base power?

Ridiculous.

Renkai tightened his grip. The rabbit let out an agonizing shriek as the bones in his hand snapped. Without hesitation, Renkai grabbed him by the neck and lifted him effortlessly.

In the rabbit's terrified eyes, a three-meter-tall blue dragon warrior appeared before him. His strength was overwhelming.

"Rabbit, you have two choices—wish for this Dragon System to send you to the police station to surrender… or die. Choose."

The Dragon System hovered beside Renkai, ready to carry out his will.

Was this even a choice?

"S-Send us to the police station! Don't kill me...!"

"Simple."

"Ding! You have acquired the superpower to turn people into carrots!"

With the Rabbit Gang gone, Renkai turned his attention toward the location where the combat power 2 reading had appeared. His expression darkened as he called out.

"Chowder, stop hiding. Come out before I get angry."

Inside a nearby house…

"K-King Chowder… that blue-skinned monster turned into a three-meter-tall giant! And he's looking right at us!"

A dog dressed in ninja clothes trembled as he spoke. His eyes were filled with fear.

"Damn it!"

A small, blue-skinned creature wearing a hat gritted his teeth.

"That idiot Rabbit really exaggerated himself! I never expected him to be wiped out so easily!

I planned to let them weaken each other, then steal the six Dragon Balls from that guy once they were both injured!"

A woman in a trench coat and heavy makeup bit her lip.

"K-King Chowder, he's calling us! He said to go out before he gets angry!"

"Then we have no choice but to fight!"

King Chowder clenched his fists. His plans had failed, but he wasn't ready to give up yet.

"No one will stop me from becoming the ruler of the world! Ash, Xiao Wu, let's go!"

"Yes, King Chowder!"

Ash and Xiao Wu responded in unison, determined to fight.

BOOM!

A small house near Renkai exploded! Smoke and debris scattered across the battlefield.

Through the dust, three heavily-armored battle mechs emerged. Their metallic footsteps echoed ominously.

Each mech had a transparent cockpit, revealing its driver—King Chowder and his subordinates!

"Beep!"

King Chowder: Combat Power 2Ash: Combat Power 5Xiao Wu: Combat Power 5

King Chowder's power was pitiful, but his subordinates were surprisingly strong.

Ash was just a dog, yet he had 5 combat power? That was as strong as a fully trained adult! And Xiao Wu, a woman from the underground business, also had 5?!

Clearly, they had trained intensely to serve King Chowder.

"I am the mighty King Chowder—"

"I already know. Let's skip the introduction."

Renkai flickered in place—and in an instant…

BOOM!

All three battle mechs exploded at the same time!

The trio was sent flying, crashing into the ground, covered in burns and smoke.

"Now… we can talk peacefully."

Renkai loomed over them.

"M-Mercy! We'll never touch your Dragon Balls again!"

The three begged for their lives.

"The One-Star Dragon Ball—hand it over."

Renkai stretched out his hand.

"S-Sir, we don't have it!"

King Chowder hesitated before answering.

"You think I won't kill you?"

Renkai's eyes narrowed, making them shiver.

"S-Sir, we really don't have it! We even thought you used some trick to hide it!"

Ash and Xiao Wu spoke quickly, trying to explain.

Renkai's expression darkened.

"The One-Star Dragon Ball… is missing?"

How?!

But looking at their faces, they weren't lying.

Damn it!

Where was the last Dragon Ball?!
