That evening, I went to have an abortion without any hesitation. I thought Dane had truly suffered brain damage and forgotten about me.

He clearly remembered everyone else. It turns out he was doing it on purpose, mistakenly thinking Lily was his fiancée.

I'll never forget waking up from my coma to see him packing up all my belongings and throwing them out of the house. He told me to get lost and not cling to him like Fallon did.

"You'll what?" I coldly stared at him, finding the man before me utterly disgusting!

Dane said Lily had disappeared. He'd used every means at his disposal but couldn't find a trace of her.

The only person who could pull that off right under his nose was me.

"You left the organization just now to go after Lily. How can you be so vicious?"

"I didn't do anything."I coldly replied, "I just went to the hospital. As for where Lily went, it's none of my business."

But Dane was like a madman. He grabbed a taser and stood in front of me, saying, "Don't make me do this, Indra."

"You wouldn't dare. We may be partners, but I outrank you. I'm practically your superior."

I angrily retorted. If it wasn't for my help, Dane wouldn't have climbed the ranks in the organization so quickly.

He said he didn't care. As long as he could find out Lily's whereabouts, a little punishment meant nothing.
