Chapter 8

Aria didn't make it until the ambulance arrived. She died on the spot.

As the medical staff lifted her lifeless body onto a stretcher, transporting it to the funeral home,

I stood there, completely stunned.

So she had known everything from the very beginning.

When that big truck came barreling towards us, she realized what was happening, but she didn't dodge.

She knew that what we saw seven years in the future wasn't just a dream.

It was something that would actually come to pass.

Even though we deeply loved each other now, seven years ago, we couldn't change the outcome seven years later.

So, she chose this risky way.

To protect me and my family.

While sorting through Aria's belongings, I came across a letter she had left for me.

"Frost."

"By the time you read this letter, I'm probably no longer by your side."

"But it's okay. You're young, handsome, and so talented. You'll definitely find a better woman."

"Actually, there's a secret I've never told you..."
