“Yes. She’s a very hardworking lady. She joined the finance and treasury team about two or three years ago,” Pablo answered, his tone light. “Why do you ask though?” 


Carmen's eyes narrowed slightly, and she shook her head as if Pablo was seeing her. “Oh, it’s nothing. I was just curious to know if she’s related to Mister Perez.” 


“Alright, I'd like to get back to work if that is all,” Pablo said. 


“Sure,” Carmen responded, hanging up. She stared at the name on the page for a long moment, her mind buzzing with questions.
