His Family affair
"Roman must really like you," Damien remarked as they stepped out of the house. "He has never brought a woman home before. You must be special. But you should be careful not to take things too deeply with him."
Alana stopped in her tracks, giving Damien a scrutinizing look as they stood not too far from the car where Roman's driver was waiting.
"What do you mean? Isn't it rude to say something like that about your family member behind his back to his woman?" Alana questioned, clearly unimpressed by Damien's character.
A small smirk appeared at the corner of Damien's lips as he heard her refer to herself as Roman's woman.
"Well, how do I put it," he began, rolling up his shirt sleeves. "Roman is like an apple, one side sweet and savory, the other side bad and rotten," he paused, his gaze shifting towards the entrance.
Following his line of sight, Alana noticed Roman approaching them.
