The quartet followed the increasingly fading bloody bootprints to the back of the building. The building is a two-storey bungalow with the front yard opened onto the street and the sides and the backyard fenced. The prints led them to the backyard where they discovered, through the occasional drops of blood at equal intervals from one of the bloody boot prints, that the body the killers were carrying fireman style probably started bleeding from a blunt force to the head which knocked it unconscious. The blood that pooled at the foot of the fence told them that the body was placed on the fence, while one of them crossed to receive it on the other side before the other followed.
