Are you fucking kidding me?!

So...

Where the fuck am I?

This is the only thing I can think of as I wake up in the woods, with some stupid red jacket on, and a watch that suspiciously looks like the Ultimatrix from Ben 10.

The worst thing, is, everything is quiet. And I don't know about anyone else, but I once heard, that if a forest is quiet, it means a predator is nearby.

Don't know how true that is, but I don't want to test it, so, I'm gonna get the hell out of here and dodge.

Thinking this, I push myself up and edge toward a barely visible dirt path.

Every step makes a muted crunch in the eerie silence, and my eyes dart around for any sign of movement.

The chill in the air isn't just the early morning frost - it feels like the quiet itself is watching me.

That damn watch on my wrist pulses as well with a strange glow, a constant fucking reminder of this absurd situation.

With a gut full of nerves and a single thought racing in my head -escape - I quicken my pace, determined not to stick around for whatever evil shit might be lurking in this silent, ominous forest.

I keep moving, my legs carrying me forward even though I barely understand this mess.

I don't stop to overthink shit or focus on the damn watch pulsing on my wrist. Right now, it's all about getting out alive.

The trail leads into a thicker part of the woods where the shadows creep and the silence feels heavy.

Every crunch of leaves and snap of a twig sets my nerves on edge. I freeze at every sound, expecting something to jump out.

An owl hoots somewhere off in the distance and some thing rustles nearby. The night here is fucking shit!

I'm normally far more sophisticated in my damn thoughts, cause as I always liked to say, fancier language, means looking a hell of a lot cooler, so gotta make it completely natural to you, but goddamn it, if this shitty ass situation isn't grinding me into cursing to Hell and back!

I attempt to calm myself by gripping the watch tighter, its strange glow keeping time with my racing heart. There's no time to wonder about any deeper meaning; I just need to get away.

I keep my eyes on the barely visible path ahead, dodging any obstacle or creature that might be lurking in the dark. One step, then another - I just need to leave this silent, creepy forest behind.

I bolt down the path, every step a mad scramble through the dark woods. "Fuck! Fuck! Shit! Shit!" I yell as I crash over roots and branches.

My heart is pounding like a jackhammer and fear is doing a number on my brain.

Then, out of nowhere - a massive grizzly bursts through the trees. Its eyes lock onto me and I don't need a second to realize I'm doomed.

I scream and start running like there's no tomorrow, but that furry beast hounds my every step.

"Fuck, dammit!" I shout as I sense its heavy paws thudding closer and closer. My lungs burn while I pave a desperate route through the underbrush.

But soon, my luck runs out - one misstep sends me flying. I hit the ground hard, scrambling to roll away as the grizzly looms above me, a terrifying, snorting mountain of muscle and claws.

I'm pinned against the cold dirt, panic choking me, and then the watch on my wrist - a thing that somehow looks like the damn Ultimatrix - blares out in a strangely calm female AI voice:

"Warning: critical threat detected. Commencing advanced defense protocol. Please stand by for defensive transformation sequence."

Even as the beast's hot breath clouds my vision, the world blurs around me. A searing surge of energy explodes through my body. The pain and fear twist into a wild, burning power.

Muscles ripple and my skin shifts to a hardened, alien texture, colors swirling into the unmistakable visage of a big ass tiger. Standing, barely on shaky legs, I glare up at the grizzly, now facing a being transformed by raw energy and defiant wrath.

"What the fuck?!" I yell out as I look at my now orange furred hang, with a large black claw protruding from the back of my hands.

But soon enough my attention is once more caught by the Bear as it foolishly tries to hit me, but doesn't even faze me and even seems to hurt itself.

I heard the crunch of bone, and am immediately assaulted by a scent I instinctively know as fear.

I take a steadying breath, lock eyes with the trembling beast, and then growl, "Let me tell you something, you oversized fuck - I'm still Samael, just packing a hell of a lot more Rath than you can handle."

Wait, Rath? Oh shit! This really is the Ultimatrix!

The bear, still reeling from its own bone-crunching blunder, stands rattled before me. My heart's still pounding, but now there's this wild surge of energy fueling every nerve.

I can feel the Ultimatrix enery coursing through me, every pulse hammering home my new reality.

"That's right," I snarl, my voice a mix of Samael's grit and Rath's raw power. "I'm not just some scared guy in a red jacket anymore - I'm a force of nature, and if you think you're gonna scare me, you've got another thing coming!"

The bear, eyes wide with terror, takes a cautious step back, its growls fading into confused whimpers. I flex a massive claw, watching it gleam ominously against my vibrant orange fur.

The air around us crackles with the alarm of energy radiating off me, an unmistakable sign that the defense mechanism of the Ultimatrix is in full control.

"Let me tell you something, you oversized furry hulking shitty fucking motherfucking-" I stop myself.

No need to let my anger take control. Sophistication Sam. Sophistication is so much cooler.

Be like Elijah Mikaelson, not like Jack the Sailor.

I take another steadying breath, feeling both Samael and Rath merge in a torrent of defiant power and once more speak, "This is my new reality now, and you best believe it's gonna be a hell of a ride."

As I then charge towards the beast and stab my claw into its face, with a forceful swipe, cut its upper head off like it was butter.

"Damn that felt good..." I mutter to myself as I rise and see my fur drapped by red blood and brain matter.

"Yuck, let me tell myself something, Sam! I need to find a damn river!"

I stagger backward, every footfall a mix of adrenaline and disbelief. The decapitated bear head lies a few feet away - a gruesome trophy of my new form's brute force - while I scramble to leave the carnage behind.

My mind is still reeling from the surge of power and the raw rush of the kill, but there's no time to stick around.

I wipe a smear of gore from my clawed hand, the taste of iron filling my mouth, and break into a sprint toward the thinning trees. The forest around me, moments ago cloaked in eerie silence, now echoes with the crunches of my footsteps and my ragged breathing.

Every so often, I catch a glimpse of my wild orange reflection in a puddle - an unfamiliar, fearsome visage that somehow manages to be both Samael and Rath all at once.

I push on, scanning desperately for any sign of running water - a river, a stream, anything to cool down and wash off this massacre.

There's no turning back now. I've tasted this taste of power, and though it's as horrifying as it's exhilarating, I know I need to regain control - to cool the inferno that's threatening to consume every bit of my self control.

I burst through a break in the trees, and in the distance, the glimmer of water catches my eye like a beacon of hope.

With one last surge of defiant energy, I charge forward. "Time to wash off this shit," I growl, leaving the gruesome battleground behind, and race towards the promise of a river, jumping into it.
