Chapter 16: The Killing in the Corner

In a remote corner of the subway, a group of strangers is wreaking havoc, taking advantage of the hidden darkness.

Erik, walking calmly through the crowd, notices the commotion. As he nears, he hears a string of slaps and harsh insults, accompanied by sounds of fabric tearing and pleas for mercy. The culprits, inexperienced and reckless, seem to be venting their frustrations on an innocent victim. Erik, unconcerned by their actions, remains focused on his mission—ensuring nothing disrupts his plans.

The attackers are seven South Asians, likely from the same family. Erik is cautious, recognizing their potential.
