(The next morning)
(Rehan woke up to the sound of his phone alarm. He quickly got out of bed, went downstairs, and saw that Grandpa had returned and was preparing breakfast.)
Grandpa says,
"Good morning."
Rehan says,
"Good morning, Grandpa! When did you get back? And where did you go last night? No, no, I understand—you must have gone to get married last night, right? I understand how a man feels without a woman."
(Grandpa, holding a cooking spoon in his hand, lightly hit Rehan on the head and said,)
"Stop talking nonsense and quickly wash your face and hands. Come for breakfast. You don't need to go to the shop today. And instead of standing here blabbering, look at the clock and see what time it is."
Rehan says, "
Grandpa, what are you saying? I woke up as soon as my phone alarm rang. I'll go to work on time today. You don't need to worry."
Grandpa says,
"Is that so? Then look at the clock and see for yourself if you woke up on time or not."
(Rehan looked at the clock and screamed,)
"How is this possible? I set my alarm today, but still, how did I wake up late? I clearly remember setting the alarm—how could this happen?"
(Rehan looked at his phone and saw that instead of setting the alarm for 6 AM, he had set it for 9 AM, which is why he woke up late.)
Rehan says,
"But I set the alarm for early morning! How did this happen? I think my eyes were too sleepy, so I couldn't see properly and ended up setting it for 9 AM. Why does this always happen to me? No matter how much I plan to be on time, something or the other always goes wrong."
Grandpa says,
"Will you keep talking to yourself, or will you get ready? Time is slipping away, Rehan."
Rehan says,
"Where's my breakfast? Hurry up and give it to me!"
"Otherwise, the boss will yell at me again today."
