little quiet world

As I walked down to the cafe, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee enveloped me, and I couldn't help but breathe it in deeply. The cafe was even more beautiful than I had imagined, with lilies arranged artfully around the room and the soft hum of conversation filling the air. It was as if life was moving at a slower pace here, and everyone was savoring the moment.

I scanned the room, my eyes searching for Mrs. Hilliard. Suddenly, I spotted her, and she caught my eye, waving enthusiastically at me. I smiled, feeling a warmth in my chest, and made my way over to her.

"Lexi, darling!" she exclaimed, as I approached. "I'm so glad you could make it. You look lovely today."

I blushed, feeling a little self-conscious, but happy to be there. "Thanks, Mrs. Hilliard. You look great too."

We hugged, and I took a seat across from her, feeling grateful for this chance to connect with her outside of work. The cafe was bustling with activity, but in this quiet corner, it felt like we had our own little world.

As I sat across from Mrs. Hilliard at the cozy cafe, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air, and the soft hum of conversation created a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Mrs. Hilliard took a sip of her coffee, her eyes sparkling with enthusiasm. "So, Lexi, I have some exciting news to share with you," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

I leaned in, my curiosity piqued. "What is it, Mrs. Hilliard?" I asked, my eyes locked on hers.

She smiled, her face lighting up with excitement. "I'm going to plan another gala event, and I want you to be my official event planner," she said, her words sending a surge of excitement through my veins.

My eyes widened in shock, and I felt like I was on cloud nine. "Are you serious?" I exclaimed, my voice a little too loud. The cafe patrons turned to look at me, but I didn't care. This was a dream come true!

Mrs. Hilliard chuckled, her eyes twinkling with amusement. "Yes, Lexi, I'm completely serious. You deserve this opportunity, and I know you'll do an amazing job," she said, her words filling me with gratitude.

I took her hands in mine, feeling a deep sense of appreciation. "Thank you so much for this opportunity, Mrs. Hilliard. I won't let you down," I said, my voice filled with emotion.

Mrs. Hilliard smiled, her face warm and encouraging. "I know you won't, Lexi. You're an incredibly talented event planner, and I'm honored to have you on my team," she said.

As we finished our coffee, Mrs. Hilliard stood up, signaling the end of our meeting. "I guess that will be it for today, Lexi. See you soon," she said, smiling.

I stood up, feeling elated and grateful. "Thank you again, Mrs. Hilliard. I'll talk to you soon," I said, watching as she walked out of the cafe.

As soon as she was gone, I pulled out my phone and dialed Lila's number. She answered on the first ring, and I couldn't wait to share the news with her.

"Hey, girl! You won't believe what just happened," I exclaimed, barely containing my excitement.

Lila's voice was filled with curiosity. "What is it? Tell me everything!" she demanded.

I took a deep breath, reliving the excitement of the moment. "Mrs. Hilliard just offered me the opportunity to be her official event planner for her next gala event!" I exclaimed.

Lila's scream of excitement was music to my ears. "Oh my god, Lexi! That's amazing! You deserve it, girl!" she shouted.

I laughed, feeling happy and relieved. "Thanks, Lila. I'm still in shock, but I'm so grateful for this opportunity," I said.

Lila's voice was filled with enthusiasm. "We're going to celebrate, girl! Let's go out tonight and paint the town red!" she exclaimed.

I laughed, feeling carefree and happy. "Sounds like a plan to me, Lila. Let's do it!" I said, already looking forward to our night out.

As I hung up the phone, I couldn't help but feel grateful for my friend and this amazing opportunity. Life was good, and I was excited to see what the future held.

I arrived at Lila's place, ready to get glammed up for a night out at the club. As soon as I walked in, Lila handed me a stunning turquoise mini gown with a daring v-line neckline. I gasped in delight, knowing it would showcase my curves perfectly.

"Girl, you're going to slay tonight!" Lila exclaimed, as I quickly changed into the dress. I checked myself out in the mirror and couldn't help but purr in satisfaction. The dress hugged my body in all the right places, accentuating my c-cup breasts and toned legs.

Lila whistled as she took in my appearance. "Oh. My. God. Bae, you look fucking sexy! Dump Michael and be my girlfriend," she joked, making me laugh.

I smiled, feeling confident and sexy. "Thanks, you too!" I said, eyeing Lila's one-piece gown that left little to the imagination. "You're getting laid tonight," I teased, and Lila hummed in agreement.

As we finished getting ready, I couldn't help but think about Michael. I hadn't heard from him all day, and I was starting to feel a little down.

Lila noticed my expression and handed me my Prada bag. "Hey, have you heard from your boyfriend?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.

I shook my head, feeling a pang of disappointment. "Nope, he hasn't even texted me."

Lila rolled her eyes. "He doesn't bother about you, Lexi. Let's have fun tonight and forget about him."

Just as Lila handed me my bag, my phone pinged with an incoming message. I looked down to see a video from an unknown number. My heart skipped a beat as I opened the message, and my eyes widened in shock.

The video showed Michael, my boyfriend, fucking a brunette in his office. I felt like I'd been punched in the gut, and my mind went blank.

Lila noticed my expression and raised an eyebrow. "What's wrong, Lexi?" she asked, but I just shook my head, unable to speak.

And that's when everything went black
