Chapter 73: Elf Forest 1
The city was crowded thanks to a special order issued by some prince.

After quickly finishing our shopping with Sharin and Filiana, we headed towards the forest where the elves live. We all agreed that there was no problem in making a detour, but that it would not be wise to waste efforts.
The forest is calm, with a soft light penetrating between the treetops and the pure air of the forest. It is a pleasant and cool place, thanks to the leaves of the trees that block sunlight in the right measure.
"Hey, where are we now?"
Upon hearing my words, Filiana unfolds the map.
"Um... Well, we started in Gi Cubaya and now we are in a place called Cubaya's Morning Dew Forest."
Apparently this large continent is called Cubaya. I have no knowledge of the terrain itself, but it's best to know at least this, just in case. So we continue moving forward step by step.
When I was about to say it was time to take a break, an unknown man's voice echoed through the silent forest.
"What are you doing here? Leave now."
When I looked in the direction of the voice, a knight mounted on a horse was watching us from atop the animal. He wore impeccable armor, a cape and a long sword at his waist.
Looking closely, I see that he has pointed ears, so he must be an elf.
"We are traveling. Can you let us pass? We want to reach the country beyond here."
"No, go back. I won't let you pass through here."
Except that we can't back down now either.
"We are chasing the Dark Elves. They are plotting something, so we need to go fast before more damage happens."
I frantically explained what had happened so far.
However, the elf man's expression did not change at all at my words.
"Dark elves? They have been here for ages. There is no problem, just leave now."
The man drew his sword from its sheath. The shiny blade, which appears to be made of a material other than iron, shines by reflecting light.
"Alicegawa, this could be bad. Look around."
I looked around as Sharin had told me and saw several elves pointing their weapons at our group.
When I turned my gaze back to the man in front of us, he dismounted from the horse and gave a slight smile.
"Well, it doesn't matter. Let's just get rid of these troublesome pests."
