Chapter 76: How Much Damage 1
Thanks to my persuasion, we managed to escape the elves.

After the elves left, all the strength left my body and I crouched on the spot. My hands trembled with nervousness and my whole body was drenched in cold sweat.
I took a deep breath. It's like I'd forgotten how to breathe a long time ago.
Pauline approached, looking worried. But now I don't have the luxury of entertaining her.
Then I finally remembered that Piyo had been hit by an arrow. I move my heavy head and look in the direction she fell. Piyo was being held by Filiana. However, Filiana also had many scars all over her body, so the beautiful fabric that covered the horse part of her body was now in tatters.
With Pauline's help, I managed to get up and approach my companions.
"Piyo, are you okay?"
The arrow had been removed, but the spilled blood stained her orange feathers red.
"Ugh, ugh... it hurts... ugh, sigh."
Piyo's whole body was covered in mud and her face was dirty with snot and tears from the pain.
"Alicegawa, are you okay?!"
I turned around when someone called me, then I saw Sharin and Nina standing there.
"Wow, your nose is bleeding!"
Sharin had a lot of blood dripping from her nose. Also, she had several painful bruises on her face and blood was dripping from scratches on her knees.
Nina also had bruises on her arms, and her snake tail was covered in mud and dirt.
I took a towel from my bag and pressed it against Sharin's nose. She didn't change her expression at all, just looked like nothing had happened.
"More importantly, Alicegawa, you have an injury on your shoulder."
It's true that I've been in pain for a while, but it's not as bad as what everyone else is feeling.
"Forget about me. You need to wash your knee and cool the bruise, otherwise you'll have a scar."
Sharin frowned at what I said, wondering what I was talking about.
"Let's move fast! What will happen if their friends come back?"
"Yes, let's go somewhere safer now."
Nina and Filiana encouraged us to leave the place.
